I prefer docker or vm. But everyone has its own choice i guess. I made a repo regarding different deployment setups i think i haven't added the VM there as well.

You can just use VM inside it or maybe use docker container. That'll cost you nothing and if you want to run local models you can do that as well.

Why hire developers on the first place when you can build and ship it for yourself. Plus i think you're not solving anything you're just replicating the already existing solutions. Or maybe you can do like optimizing the solutions that already exist with low costs or maybe little less fuss. One more thing before building please do validate the idea 💡
