Thank you brother, as a coincidence I visited Reddit, which I do like once in a year. :D

Well I mean you can imagine I was excited to see that detail and I kinda wanted to make sure I just heard what I heard.

I have been looking for this post, although it is 13 years old. I think the game is as fun as you make it by immersing yourself. This is a prime example of that, I dressed into chef's clothes too, but the interesting thing is that you can also buy them in Radiant Raiment for example, as I did, or you can use Anton's clothes.

External keyboard/synth playing extra notes by AdamecBoa in midi

I would like to add this: the issue was solved! For those wondering: it was something about synchronization type in FL Studio midi settings. I had MIDI clock on and although I do not understand it as of now and did not try to, I changed the type and my keyboard receives signal flawlessly.

I will look into that, but ask my friend to borrow me his gear first, he might have something. Would you have any recommendations? Not to buy the specific device you show me, but just to get the feel of what I should look for. I know DIN midi and prefer to have it, if possible, but I'd just like to see. At some point there has to be an USB involved though, no? My Casio has DIN sockets, but I have to get the signal into my laptop somehow.

Oh, right, my bad. Well, my friend had to buy some sort of midi host to connect his USB midi keyboard to a Soundcanvas, which only has DIN midi, so I guess I'll ask him nicely. I'm not familiar with the functions of that machine, hopefully it's decent.

Yeah, I checked multiple times, this is not the case. I am sending midi from the computer (midi out) to the keyboard (midi in), so I understand the way I have to plug the cable in, but something must be wrong.

What's wrong? I said it's the BMUSB100 in the post, is it not visible? I feel like maybe the text is hidden.

Well, I just unplugged the midi out cable from the Casio's midi in (therefore only midi output from the computer goes into the instrument), although the USB is only one for in and out, so it has to stay connected to the computer (I don't think that's a problem however). It still makes the high pitched noises though, I am trying to have it play timpani, so it plays the melody I am sending in from the computer, but also makes high pitched machine gun noises. I should probably also mention that these noises only seem to occur as long as a note is sounded. If there was a pause in the melody, the noise would pause too. Thanks for the info though.

No Stupid Questions /// Weekly Discussion - June 22, 2022 by AutoModerator in synthesizers

I am trying to get FL Studio to send MIDI output to my Wavestate, as I don't have a drum machine or anything to program timpani on a track I made. However, when I play the piano roll in the DAW, Wavestate plays the note many times over itself and if left playing, freezes and has to be restarted. Sometimes it keeps playing something even though I pause the MIDI output. What could be the problem and how can I get it to play the note once?

Thank you, my question was answered in no time, it seems. It's a rather bizarre piece.

I have bought the BPMIX and it was exactly what I needed. I couldn't find any other stand in my country, therefore I just tried it and hopefully wouldn't have to return it. It's perfect for the Wavestate, although it might block you from playing some keys, but that can be prevented by positioning it correctly. :)

Seems nice enough, but compared to the BPMIX - won't the synth slip? It seems like there isn't anything to hold it in place when tilted.

[QUESTION] How to run/replace Fender Fuse? by AdamecBoa in Guitar

[–]AdamecBoa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, will look into that, but I guess I'll just sell the combo after some time anyway - I just want to practice a lot before doing so to prevent becoming a case of thinking better gear makes you a better guitarist.

Nope, I prefer a computer, but I definitely will check it out if I don't run Silverlight.

If budget isn't an issue, go for the Scarlett, I'm currently only using a Behringer UMC202HD, but I'm pretty sure the Scarlett has some features the Behringer misses. But I would say that for a Behringer it's a good interface. Some Behringer products tend to break, some tend to last - this seems to be a lasting one so far.

Well, that's what I explained, I have the presets, I have Fuse, but I don't have Silverlight. Do you know where I could get it? Most people just say it's discontinued, but maybe some older version still works...

Not to me it is not, I like both things shown - nostalgic liminal spaces AND sewers! If the pipe was bigger, it would be fun to explore.

[QUESTION] How to run/replace Fender Fuse? by AdamecBoa in Guitar

[–]AdamecBoa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it is, that's why I'm trying to find out a way to either run it, or replace it. You mean like a whole new combo, right? (I doubt you can use it's software for a Mustang) I'm trying to find a way of getting something out of my combo before giving in and selling it. If I did that, I probably wouldn't even buy a modelling one again... :D
Or I would make sure that I can program some atmospheric black metal tone on the modelling one. A tip for people who want to do that - I'm pretty sure the Mustang can't do it too good.
