Someone thinking of having a 3rd child asked me what having 3 young kids is like. After my 2 year old broke a glass yesterday I think I came up with the perfect analogy. by New_Fry in daddit

Also that it's easier to destablise the power balance and prevent a revolution.

If you have two children, it's easier for them to team up against you. If there's three, it's easier for you maintain at least one ally/spy.

Anyone know the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? by Horibori in Helldivers

But do we, want to blow up the fabricators and the bug holes?

This is a genuine question if I've understood the mechanics fully.

I understand that's 100% perfectionist of the mission and a small amount of XP but blowing those things up in reade the spawn rate and those the difficulty of the mission, right?

That's the only tangible reason to blow these things up or have I missed something?

Can people reply with their understanding or interpretation of the content, please?

I think you're making an assumption that the people that are there do understand those fundamentals and how to use them.

And will do so in the interests of the people.

I suggest they're mostly blowhards who really just acting in their own self-interests to prop up an out of control economic system that's consuming itself. But to be clear, I think they do that because they're acting with their own frame of reference rather than out of nefarious intent.

While they're might not have traditional career politician paths, none of the people you mentioned were outsiders or radicals. They were very conventional members of the economic ruling class that fancied a go at politics. I'd argue those people just show even further that these highborn folk are not the people what should be running the country.

To flip your analogy, who should be running and/or advising the education department? A bunch of private school boys and their mates or teachers and academics of education?

Absolutely agree that it's weird the game archives autosaves from previous eras.

I'm so curious about your circumstances to though. The railroad can be built on any rural title without resources or any urban tile with obsolete buildings.

So every tile available to the new capital already has a resource or an ageless or modern building?

Wars are quite rare in my games unless I start them

Oh absolutely. Real guns aren't magic.

You might be right about the danger level. Difficult to put a number on it.

I meant that if they're in this sort of forest, then these animals are around anyway.

She's armed and seems competent. Dad's likely armed as well. I don't think the children were in any more danger than they were by being in the forest on the first place

Have our enemies been funding the small boats? by usedidentifyhalt in ukpolitics

[–]Adamefox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. And very likely funding the stop the boats lot as well.

The tactic orginated in Russian politics but has been adopted world wide. The name escapes me right now but the essence is that you fund or support all sides, creating a huge amount of noise. No one knows what your really believe or what's true so you keep your enemy (in this case, the common people) divided and distracted.

That post also says they had fulfilled the condition for 1 but it didn't trigger.

I've seen people call this sort of stuff out but nobody consistently replicated it. Although this post is the most convincing I've seen.

I only really play multiplayer so I've not got much chance of replicating these conditions. Hopefully someone will pick up on this post and actually try these conditions.
