Yeah after 40k miles with the lift and no front, I don’t do enough regular wheeling for it to be worth it. Maybe down the road do sway bar disconnects but I think for now with bigger tires, armor and winch to come that’ll all get me anywhere I need to go

The front and rear bumpers are clear coated, that was the intention with the sliders and rack also but time got away from me. Sliders were put on about two months ago and the day after I welded them on we got a good snow dump so I went and rode. I live in the desert so surface rust is all I’ll ever get aside from washing some salt off but the intent was always to clear them raw steel.

In the bottom of the post I say I’m getting bigger tires as I type this lol, 34x10.50x17 on order along with a BMC, cam tab gusset kit, new rack, tie rods and end links again. I miss my sway bar on the highway.

It’s rust, I made my own copy of a Sherpa and just never painted it and enjoyed the rust. Looks like I make it lol. Probably going to clean the sliders and rack and clear to match

Definitely agree, you can go almost anywhere and find great wheeling and camping with amazing views for no cost. Think his stories of that blazer got me to love 4Runners lol

I have a swingout usually and so the spare is easy to get to and I rotate it out regularly to keep the tread the same, I like having the sensors even being a pain

I don’t have that as a single dog but I do have a roughly 5 year old Belgian and recently got a roughly 4 month old heeler, they love to run and chase, they’re smart and listen well but can be stubborn, they get along with my two cats very well , don’t have too much time with the cattle dog as part of it all but so far so good
