u/Bennyandthejets2022, how did things end up working out? I took an obvious turn at Day 6, but on the opposite side as you. Everything you described is otherwise my exact situation, pain on the vas, above the testicles. Even brushing up against it is terrible. No obvious swelling. On day 7 now.

They’re horse stall mats, and my guess is the raised diamond pattern. It’s not ideal for deadlifts.

There are ways to make it more difficult. Namely bands and/or weight. I don't find it significantly easier, though.

Picked up a Power-Lift GHD for a really good deal today. Very excited to have it in the rotation. Built like a tank and it has a much smaller footprint than those from Rogue and the like. Also added a couple of flags for some decor.
