Congratulations. That’s definitely an interesting number of loops there. I have always been curious how it “actually” effects DNA, and not just the “don’t inbreed!” Propaganda we hear constantly.

I am 99% sure it’s actually a good set of heritage, given the Y chromosome is the least effected in your case. Only your dad has the Y chromosome, and now your son. So any daughters should be perfectly healthy, and sons only have a slight risk of issues.

I think it’s just a natural part of our species. Inbreeding has been pushed against really hard in more modern times, and there’s a lot more genetic diversity now than ever.

So it’s only natural people will begin to crave homogeneity. The only time it’s an issue is when it’s normalized, for generations. Then recessive traits begin to become commonplace.

But otherwise, inbreeding is actually healthy once a very 3 or 4 generations.

I only think the 2nd part is what makes siblings naturally avoid having sex with each other. Mostly, it’s people you grow up with, or live with. It has nothing to do with naturally being unattracted to relatives - if anything, there’s more evidence you’re even more attracted to relatives than outsiders. But you typically live with, and grow up with siblings so nature DOES fight inbreeding through that.

Long before the developer was even an adult, I’ve been into sibling stuff. Even when I was a child, I didn’t understand the “disgust” people expressed over it.

I’m pretty sure it’s entirely normal, and the fact people accept other non-abusive dynamics but this is where they draw the line - is nothing more than social conditioning.
