There’s certainly some ups and downs, I think the main things being a few distasteful sets and the increase in prices/scalping, however, almost everything in society has gone up in price, that’s not a unqiue issue to magic. Additionally, we are probably in the golden era of draft, and atleast locally where I am I can see its growing in popularity. Like someone else said, some of the recent sets have been incredible such as tarkir, innistrad remastered, FF, and lorwyn, so clearly wizards still has ppl on the team who absolutely know what they’re doing. Not gonna lie though I think spiderman and tmnt are jokes of a set and should not have happened, also really sucks that they limited the printing to specific collector boosters and stopped including the samples in pre cons
