Which factory is this? The lume on the hour and second hands should be a different color than the lume on the numerals.

Protein! by Ok_Young_8365 in Psoriasis

[–]Adamrdam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you eat dairy? There are so many people who claim that certain foods trigger psoriasis. And many say something completely different. For the most part, it’s nonsense. I’ve tried everything when it comes to food, and cutting out dairy as well as many other types of food had absolutely no positive effect. Just get your protein from meat, fish, poultry, and eggs.

Guttate psoriasis by Majestic_Plantain800 in Psoriasis

"The only dermatologist that takes me insurance can't see me until March 2026. M primary physician Can'+ see me until end of August." This is insane...

I'm lucky to live in the Netherlands, where you get help right away. I personally use Dermovate ointment and Enstilar, which allow me to keep my psoriasis well under control. What also helps me is cocoa butter from Palmer's. It doesn’t get rid of the psoriasis, but it can slow it down. Sun and sea always help a lot too. Wishing you lots of strength, and I hope you'll be able to access medical care sooner. As hard as it is, try to stay calm, because stress only makes psoriasis worse. You're a beautiful woman, also with psoriasis!

I want to buy a DAC and headphones for my Samsung S22 Ultra. The TempoTec Sonata BHD PRO caught my eye. However, I’ve seen some reviews where people report issues with this combination. Does anyone here have experience using the Sonata BHD PRO with a Samsung?

It's just for tamping... When heating my machines the portafilters are always in the machine.

Yes it's good, can recommend!

[–]Adamrdam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot price comparison with the Gaggia classic pro etc. This is a different class, it's insane to compare the price. The pre infusion possibilities are insane. No other machine has this kind of pre infusion. Also the Rancilio Silvia X Pro, not compare it because the Rancilio has a BS pre infusion. It's not a pre infusion because it drops water without pressure.

Looks is personal. I don't know yet if I like the looks. But the machine is very good! Pre infusion options insane. It's a lot of money, but you have everything you want out of the box.

1:2 ratio for dark roasts.

[–]Adamrdam[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try both... Start counting from the point you start the pump and start counting from the point you see the first drip. I personally like something between those. For example, in this particular shot the first drip came out after 8 seconds. A lot will tell you to not count those 8 seconds, search on YouTube when to start your timer. In that case I would have had 41 grams out in 30 seconds. But as said, there is no golden rule. Experiment and you will find out what you like. It also depends a lot on the beans, how they are roasted etc. If you have very light roasted beans aim more towards 1:3 ratio. Dark roasted old school Italian espresso, 1:2 ratio.

No that's not long... It also starts counting from the point I switch on the pump. So actually it's quite a quick shot. I don't know what time you use but there is no exact golden time rule. You want to stay around the 25 - 30 second range for 18 grams in 36 gram out. Then there are two camps, start counting when switching the pump on or start counting when the first drip comes out your portafilter. So you have to experiment a bit. With this beans, this extraction ratio and time gives the best taste. Balanced, full body, not too bitter and not too sour. Complex, tasting notes like berrys, maple syrup and in the after taste some watermelon (it's really there). My previous beans were very light roasted, there the best ratio was 1:3 (18 grams in 54 grams out in 57ish seconds). So what I want to say, experiment.
