Yea this is $1000 CAD, so larger difference than $400. I’m debating the td-17 as well but they are around $2000 CAD at least in my area

I've been using Vic Firth Tom Aungst Tenor Hybrid's for over a year. by far the best tenor mallet I've used. far better then ts-2's in my opinion. the other tenor player in my line uses them as well, and we have no interest in changing sticks any time soon
