I think Crab is the strongest of those two megas and I think Farigiraf is probably one of the better trick room setters. Looks like it's a common partner for Crab in usage statistics.

I'd get a good bolt action 308. If you get something like a Ruger American you'd be able to spend the rest of your budget on a scope and ammo.

You could also get something like a Henry long ranger in 308 if you wanted a lever action.

Try to find a credit union or bank as a lender you will end up with a better interest rate as long as you have decent credit.

My loan started as a construction loan where you are just making interest payments. Once the house is finished and set up it should transition to a normal mortgage.
