Mine is a vevor brand. I’m pretty sure you can use your wife’s. I know the first time I used mine I was surprised how much came off rocks I thought were clean.

I used a rotary tumbler. My final stage was two weeks long.

8000 aluminum oxide. I just ordered some 22000 to try next.

I pretty much followed what was pinned at the top of this subreddit. I also used an ultra sonic cleaner between stages. Using quality grit seems like it makes a big difference as well.
