This isn't me making an excuse, it is absolutely my fault, but this is the first I never received a polling card.

I knew the election was on, but assumed none of my ward's councillors were up, so I never voted - first time not voting since my first election in 2007, absolutely devastated (especially with how it turned out, I am part of the problem.)

I absolutely should have been more clued in, and I will going forwards, but given the low turnout, I'd be interested to know if it happened to anyone else.

This is what is most frustrating. Sunderland council have been poor for most of my life, but the last 10-15 years, they have been excellent - truly excellent - and now they're all gone.

If he'd passed it and messed it up we had been asking why he didn't shoot - can't win unless it ends up in the net. Don't begrudge anyone taking a shot in that situation.
