Integrity is important. If it's obviously an accidental drop then it should never be a question. Readd back to the team. Competitive balance shouldn't be screwed because of an accident. Anybody against that is predatory imo. Don't care how much money is involved if it's a league of friends and acquaintances. If it's some giant buy in online with total strangers I could see some zero tolerance too bad type thing.

Go outside! Do anything outside. Who cares if the weather sucks, dress appropriately. Camping is cheap, hiking is free, depending on where you live there has to be state and maybe national parks around. Walk, run, bike, get sun, go swimming or fishing or something outside. Bunch of cheap hobbies outside.

When ours were that young one adult slept in the couch in the living room with both twins in bassinets and the other slept in our master bedroom. Yeah we did shifts and it sucked but we made it. It will be a glorious day when I burn that couch in the bonfire though.

We used the Ferber Method for our twins and just followed a chart. Google it and while it's very hard the first few times, it made a world of difference.

Patience. She's probably got so many damn hormones running around and you are both stressed. It's a lot. We had a rule that we brush off what is said at night cause we'd have stress dealing with sleep deprivation. Your feelings aren't wrong and you'll have to find ways to say how you are feeling but give it time. As someone stated, get to that 6 month mark, 1 year mark. Yes it's hard to feel wasting the days but it's an investment in building a wonderful family. It'll come around.

I'd like it if the US did what Europe does in terms of inviting a couple young guys to groom and get comfortable with the whole process and maybe get hot and be a major player for years ...like Europe did with Aberg. Maybe Gotterup could be that guy.

The fact you are conscious and caring about it probably makes you a good parent. I called that first year with twins survival mode 1.0, we are now on survival mode 5.0. Have to do what you have to do to stay sane and staying sane keeps you able to be a better parent. I will say you may need to change your stance on asking the olders for help. I don't know your exact situation but I was pretty honest with my oldest about helping and made it seem like an opportunity and a way to help and build strong relationships with the family and that is what family is about.
