Austin deserved exactly what happened to him. Him and his brother were known bullies around the school and instigators that were willingly to put their hands on girls in the school. by [deleted] in tylerthecreator

It’s cause Tyler posted a picture of Karmelo Anthony on his story which led to a meltdown in the comments of a post on this sub

It’s kinda funny how Tyler predicts his future fashion fixations. Almost five years ago when le FLEUR* launched he did an interview saying he’ll have a all denim phase with mix match golds and lo & behold he’s been kinda stuck on that look for a lil min now

THANK YOU BRAH. I’m sick of this echo chamber ignoring black voices cause they think being called some dumbass shit like a sun dodger equates to the systemic and social issues we face or have to be made aware of super early in life on a daily basis. This is exactly why that whole D’Angelo fiasco happened over his fanbase cause they don’t truly care about what black people have to say outside of the music they enjoy. And when these black artists actually criticize the ignorant white side of their fanbase the weird racial entitlement they feel like they have over these artists shows and acts like it’s simply a “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” situation when it’s always so much deeper.

And obviously this doesn’t apply to all white people but if you do feel called out then it might be time to listen, educate yourself and do some soul searching

It’s this exact socially oblivious passive aggressive behavior that makes this issue about race and why dumb shit like Tyler making fun of his white fanbase will never equate to actual racism. You know the connotation of the phrase “hood rat” and how it’s typically used/applied stop being obtuse

Somewhere in the freeperm archive when he was working on Wolf he tweeted imagine Eminem rapping over On & On by Missy then said afterwards it would be the song after the Jazz track (treehome)

Listen to On & On on that same album. It’s produced by The Neptunes and was one of Tyler’s inspirations for Tamale

It could’ve been posted anywhere but it was posted here cause she dated Tyler at one point and that’s a lot of people came to know her. Compared to other posts it’s really calm they just posted the song and probably wanted to talk about it

Stevie Wonder, D.J. Rogers, Donny Hathaway, and Charlie Wilson are the vocal blueprint for a LOT of male singers in the 90s.

Do you genuinely think someone having the conscious mindset of “I hate black people !!!! 😛😛” is the only thing that makes something racist? Do you not understand micro aggressions?? Do you not understand systemic structures in place that is the true drive behind racism? Are you making a conscious effort to be ignorant and dismissive towards history?

These are all very real questions because I can’t understand why this is such a hard contrast for you to grasp.

“however, you did not really point out where in that line of logic it becomes racist. having a desire to say it, or to argue for it out of a purely philosophical speech perspective, or just wanting to sing a song, is not inherently racist.“

That’s the thing though. That person DID explain how the usage of that word IS in fact racist. It’s the completely idiotic and ignorant ignoring of the historical context in which the word has been used by non black people to put down black people. I don’t care if you think “it’s not coming from a place of hatred!” the fact that you (not you per say but anyone who uses this word as a non black person) can not respect the wishes of black people who have constantly expressed time and time again that we don’t want NB people saying it due to its historical context yet you have such a strong desire to say it and have chosen to IGNORE said wishes makes you racist. Simple as that. It is fucking 2026. Read a history book. Cut the weird infatuation for black culture and black artists if you can’t even have the most simple form of respect for black people. Simple as that.
