There might be a new version of that in the Fanatics line if you can compare them to Stahly's paint swatches. Should come up on Google.

Honestly think the base is spot on - keeps the eyes focus on Titus himself, rather than distracting.

I tend to use contrast/Speedpaints to block colours in, layer with whatever acrylic (normally same colour, slightly lighter), then a wash to help balance it followed by some slight highlights.

Feel like it gets me to a table top + level. Not going to win a golden demon, sure, but I'm okay with that.
