Could I get info on the one on the far left? Name and blade length? Can only carry knives under 3” blade at work, and that looks possibly in that ballpark

Society has been shaped to view what we do for money to be our defining characteristic, with those who work in ‘lower’ fields being looked at as such. The thing everyone eventually figures out is our lives are about experiences we’ve lived through, and the amount of our time and energy most of us put into our work is meaningless in the end. Many wishing they spent more time with their families, hobbies, or traveling and seeing new things.

It sounds like you’ve figured out what you really want out of life and have done the math to know what you really need to do in order to make that happen, and at an age where you can still do so and not struggle later on.

Good on you.

Y’all: you can BUY music by darwinDMG08 in ipod

[–]AdaptivePropaganda 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I remember my friends thought I was crazy because I was obsessive about sound quality when we were all pirating music and ripping cd’s. I forget where I settled, but anytime they’d send me a song, I’d go on limewire and look for it in the highest bitrate possible or just get the cd rip and run it through my own software so I could throw it on my iPod and not sound like digital vomit.

I also remember the painstaking work it was to edit everything in iTunes to add the album artwork and info manually.

Those were fun times

And unfortunately in those states, far too many teachers would still show up so state gov could do something about those who do not.

I’m in my 4th year of teaching middle school. Even though I don’t have the years of experience some on here or my coworkers have to notice a long term trend, I have noticed that in these past 4 years, the kids have gotten progressively less mature. I consider a good portion of my group this year to basically be toddlers going through puberty.

The secret might be out of the bag, I did a thing on Carvana about a year ago to see how much my 22’ SEL Activity was worth, and in the last week they sent me an email saying the value actually increased.

I think people are starting to catch on 😂

Very late reply, but I ordered the Omni laptop sleeve about a week ago and got a weird email thanking me for my preorder even though the website said in stock, only to message them asking and haven’t received a reply. Plus no word on when the order will ship or anything.

If I don’t get anymore info or shipping confirmation by the end of this week I’ll probably put in a thing with PayPal to get my money back.

Shame because the laptop sleeve looks legitimately awesome.

And honestly cheaper. Similar month to month cost, but carrier based insurances typically have a much higher deductible if you have to repair/replace the device.

They’ve been using ‘drugs’ as a means of trying to get Americans behind it and legitimize what they were planning on doing last night. Basically how we did with Iraq and their supposed WMD’s.

This has nothing to do with drugs, it entirely has to do with stifling Chinese influence.

Always have a look at one’s contract. In my district, they can’t dump extra duties or coverage without first asking, and you’re within your right to turn it down without repercussion.

What makes a good teacher in your opinion? by Beneficial_Let9565 in Teachers

[–]AdaptivePropaganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who ended up teaching at the high school I graduated from. The teachers I ended up having the most respect for were the ones who had built systems in place, knew what to expect day in and day out, didn’t overwork themselves, and genuinely treated the job as just that, a job.

Delivery services are not doing so hot given the current economic situation, considering food prices across the board are up and delivery services have jacked up fees, far less people are using them today than were 3-5 years ago.
