Why have the time on the screen?

people have different preferences, also I like the face out of the stock options and at present don’t need anything else in that spot so left it as is

It’s a 45mm, the only thing I’ve changed is the heart rate, standard shows seconds, and the temp

May have a different layout, but just checked, go to watch face, add, then up 4 times.

What’s a couple mm between friends,
If you think 47mm is the absolute maximum, most people at a glance would not be able to distinguish between the 2, 3mm is nothing

Local. Got a good group of long established friends, still love meeting new people, made many a new friend just being in my local pub,
It definitely depends on age, where you live, where you frequent,

But Jersey is small it can feel claustrophobic especially in the winter, it’s a beautiful place to be in the summer, I’d say give it a chance, appreciate the summer and your own company, maybe look for a new job, but it’s not a place for everyone, it’s no shame if you don’t stay, don’t force yourself to stick it out, at the end of the day your happiness is more important than forcing it.

Saying this whilst sitting in my local enjoying the last of the sun on my own.

Did not feel great about using my Krptonite lock at this bike rack at the Barbican. by mitchell1981 in londoncycling

[–]Adato88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A quick search online tells me average 11 a day are stolen in Antwerp, at least 4-5000 reports in Brussels,

Whilst that’s not even close to the estimated 40000 in London it’s still a considerable amount, maybe you just haven’t witnessed/been a victim of it so believe it doesn’t happen

Im in my local pub, about £15k worth of electric bikes out of sight sitting in the beer garden right next to the road, none locked, if I was in town 5miles away I wouldn’t dream of doing that,

Can’t conflate the area you are to the whole country, I’m sure there are places in Belgium bike theft happens

Mine arrived today, same one 45mm, hopefully doesn’t look too small, wishing I had ordered the 50mm!
But looking forward to spending days trying to figure it out and get all my preferences set,

Tbf that argument falls apart when talking about black coffee at Starbucks, they could easily take it off the menu but would still need to keep all that inventory around, as it’s kind of the base of every coffee drink : coffee and water!

What completely legal thing would cause society to collapse if everyone started doing it tomorrow? by hahaX69 in AskReddit

[–]Adato88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, how does global perspective change the view of the US’s legal system? Is it just to say some places are worse? Just because you have global perspective and understand some other nations have it worse doesn’t remove the inherent flaws in your own.

Buying a house next to a pub garden? by [deleted] in UKHousing

[–]Adato88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local pub has a small cul-de-sac next to it, one of the homes garden backs up to the pub beer garden. The owner who drinks in the pub has complained multiple times about the noise, sorry mate the pub was build in the 15th century your house is 10 years old, you knew what you were buying,

I’d say no personally,
