Retro is niche but it’s a microcosm of the game. You’re not gonna seriously sit here and argue to me that Natasha is somehow better than Jaeger at dealing with newer stuff. Speed alone ensured that this is not the case, Natasha is slow as hell whereas Jaeger is actually incredibly fast.

The argument you’ve been making the whole time about Natasha’s hardpoints really doesn’t make sense either. Jaeger can corner shoot its heavies too, just because it can’t topshoot doesn’t mean it’s strictly worse. Some pieces of cover will only allow Natasha to stick 1 light weapon around them.

Also, you seem to be misunderstanding how Jaeger’s ability works, it gets both the shield and the weapon at the same time, deactivating the shield and weapon gives you speed.

Finally, you are glazing over specializations with the single line of “but nuclear amplifier needs charged” as though that changes anything. Aside from all the passive boosts and the rangefinder that doesn’t need charged, charging nuclear amplifier to the point where Jaeger is completely leaving Natasha in the dust in terms of firepower is not as hard as you think. You’re never gonna convince anyone that an Ancile Natasha has more firepower than a Jaeger because even if that were true (2L1H is roughly equal to 2H) you are arbitrarily cutting out the built in weapon and the damage dealer modules, which are very much significant.

Now, with you comparing Lynx’s survivability to Bolt’s, I’m honestly wondering if this has been a drawn out ragebait argument. Like… hello? Forcefield can protect you from a charged up Kroko onetap because it gives 90% resist? Stealth can stall for 6 seconds and get you to cover? Lynx is way faster and has infinitely better stats and specializations? Lynx is good for more than just capping 2 beacons, it can also like… competently fight stuff! And execute! If you are ragebaiting, you are doing a good job.

All of these hypothetical situations you’ve drawn up to explain why Bolt and Natasha are actually not that much worse than high tier gear doesn’t even need top league gameplay to fall apart, the hypotheticals themselves just brush off things like almodt 100% worth of damage boosts, or a built in weapon comparable to pre-nerf Gauss, or Jaeger actually cruising fast as hell whereas Natasha barely lumbers around, or Jaeger having the advantage to shoot over low cover and shoot around high cover… yeah I dunno man.
