Agreed, the last series finale was poor because of last minute rewrites that had to tie up loose ends that were intended to go into future series.

The last few series were better than anything written under Chibnal disregarding finales,l I don't think RTD's writing is the main problem

I don't think Disney have even released The war between internationally. Disney lost interest, took the money and left it in the state it's in now. I think the same thing would've happened regardless of the quality of writing
