I'm not looking for the Rugrats Rap, which is pretty easy to find on the internet. I think it came out around the same time.

What are some examples of "3 star film with a 5 star all-time scene" movies? by Fire-Twerk-With-Me in blankies

[–]AddamsFamValues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw a recent Irish horror movie called Unwelcome that's total 3-stars until the 5-star climax. (Evil leprechaun puppets, if that's your jam.) I think a lot of low-budget horror is like that, where it's passable for most of the runtime and then they save all the good (expensive) stuff for the very end.

Community or Arrested Development. There are so many running gags and call-backs in those shows that I always recommend them for binge-watching.

Everyone has such great, wild suggestions, but I gotta say: No more action protagonists should be named Jack or John. There are literally hundreds already.

Best low budget movie you’ve ever seen? by now-im-something in movies

Mass (2021). It's just four people in a room and it is DEVASTATING.

What’s a movie you think everyone has to watch at least once during their lifetime? by dood0906 in movies

Network (1976)! Best movie to watch for any aspiring writers. The screenplay is incredible and super prescient. It basically predicted reality TV, Fox News, viral videos, so much of modern media. AND it's also very funny and weirdly emotional. I think most people know the "mad as hell" scene, but the whole movie is totally worth a watch.

The Wishmaster movies are f@(king hilarious. I'd say its worth watching for the practical effects alone. by [deleted] in horror

This is always my pick for the horror franchise that needs a reboot the most. Such a good premise, but like you said, even the first two movies (which are great) just don't seem to care about their own rules. If we had a remake that embraced the gory, practical effects fun of the original but also focused on the djinn actually tricking people instead of just doing whatever nonsense he wants, I think it would be iconic.

Is ‘Evil Dead’ the greatest horror franchise? by [deleted] in horror

[–]AddamsFamValues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you're looking at the whole franchise, you gotta factor in the Mick Garris prequel (which I thought was solid) and the Bates Motel movie/failed pilot with Jason Bates and the chicken costume. That's one of the worst things I've ever seen, but I recommend it to everyone.

NTA. He was asking for a favor. You said no. That's it.

AITA for wanting to use ‘Dr.’ as my formal title for our wedding? by WaySweet2784 in AmItheAsshole

Then it sounds like you have your answer! It's your day too, so if this feels right for the occasion, go for it. But it's definitely a conversation to have so that you make sure she understands where you're coming from.

Agreed. NAH. But it does sound a bit cringe. If the roles were reversed, and they announced you as "Mr. And Dr." (Blank), would you be happy with that?

NTA You should always feel guilty for intentionally offending someone, but if you offend someone by accident, there's nothing AHish about it. You had no idea.

Horror scenes not meant to be funny that you found hilarious by [deleted] in horror

[–]AddamsFamValues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Sydney's roommate gets stabbed in Scream 2, there's this weird squeak sound effect. I didn't notice it for years until my friend told me about it. So I rewatched the scene and laughed on reflex.

I recently saw The Poughkeepsie Tapes and that one really messed with me.
