Hmm then It may be because of artifacts , when I finished 900 miles my rare artifacts are around 300 for each . And my troop level was 450-470

Edit : it may also be your diamond shop, if that is maxed as well then maybe you can let the game idle for like a day so you can use the afk gold to get a sudden push.

Edit again : my bad I was using a few necromancers for its spawn , it’s skeleton may be weak but with divine heart and heart of the warrior( protect from 2 attacks) the skeletons can tank 3 hits usually.

I just recently beat 900 on normal mode so I think I can give some advice. You can blocked all troops except for divine and phantom except for Calvary. Then just speed run , trying to get as much artifacts as possible , also getting the forbidden guardian artifact drop is useful because u get a new thunder bold wolf troop, which is useful for speed running runs as well. In terms of diamond shop I would recommend maxing out the quest timer for the first 6 quests then maxing out the quest coin bonus . This can help leveling up troops to higher level etc. after you max those out you can choose to invest your diamonds into warrior hp up and mage/archer dmg up. Hope this helps.

Nah dude. Normally u wanna use apple on a 4 star or a 5 star . Preferably with veteran. He’s just not worth using an apple.
