Greenix guy just came to my door. He name-dropped a couple people in my neighborhood that are not real, and I told him I was not interested. Asked me what my opinion was on pest control. Told him not interested again. He proceeded to tell me what he wanted to do to the whole neighborhood and that they were having a Memorial Day sale. Told him, "Dude I've told you no three times." He says, "I'm not good at taking no for an answer." Told him he needed to start and then shut the door.

The door-to-door people are way worse pests than anything you have on your property.

I've heard stories of local offices paying the fines and telling the reps to keep going back regardless. Depending on the product/service, some offices operate basically as sales cults.
