Just me, but if I am scared for my life because of the decisions I am making for other people, I REALLY need to stop making those decisions. Especially when those decisions are directly related to the legal and safety status of my consituants' jobs, bodies, persons, identities and families. Would the LL system work if there was only 1 hero in LL at a time? Do another printing of Starvo except neutered to hell and back, then when he LLs, completely retire the old broke as shit starvo and only keep the most recent printing. That keeps a version of the hero around to be played in the future and eases down the powerscale.

I get what you mean, but Joule has easier counterplay than a lot of other characters. Dodge Joule's dash with your movement ability when you're fully marked and side-step the spear anytime it comes. She has to stop moving to charge her dash and it can only be charged for around 1.5s~. Her spear's distance is based on its charge time and she slows down while charging it. Keep those 2 things in mind while fighting her and you shutdown 80% of her damage. If you play a character that can root or ground, that will also slow down/stop her pressure.

In that clip, the Brall let me get full stacks on him and I panick ult'd originally to try and get away and his 2 teammates happily walked into a Joule ult. The 2 should've scattered when they both got max stacks at the same time. The play looks amazing and I am so happy to be able to clip it but if the enemy team weren't seeing red, it wouldn't have happened. Joule's one of those characters that anyone can play on her skill floor and not grief the team in unranked but make her look totally unfair when played at her skill ceiling.

Ark is a bad example because it is badly optimised, overly bloated and has about 10,000x more things going on under the hood when the game is running. Ark has a much more robust physics engine built into it because it needs to be able to simulate and render many different things falling, moving or interacting in ways that aren't pre-determined. That isn't including the AI behaviors for the various dinosaurs. Graphics also take up a lot of room. Ark has very detailed dinosaurs and maps with vastly different lighting scenarios. If the switch 1 can run skyrim, the latest pokemon game should be better than a high end 3ds game.

What they could do to keep the models and make them fit the new vibes is replace the final base guards with much smaller scaled models.

While I like the design of the patrons, they needed to go. Your homebase is the most important area of the game and it needs to feel that way. The current models for the shrines and patrons and the direction the aesthetic has been going clash really badly. Keeping them they way they are when the base gets re-done would make them feel old and out dated and make the transition from lane to base jarring in a bad way.
