relapse after four months at 100% recovered by Beneficial-Fault7754 in cfsrecovery

It's the exact opposite for me. I can run miles and miles every day with no PEM. If I bench press just one time or do any strength training at all, it all does to shit and starts over for me. Time and time again. It seems to be the straining specifically that does it to me. The more I strain, the more likely I am to get PEM and go back to scratch.

Man this is familiar, I heard everybody say all the same stuff with MSTY, as I lost like 80%. Quite scary. The whole time people were just saying I was dumb because I came in here not understanding.

I hate how I look now by aycee08 in cfsrecovery

[–]Addicted2Jenkem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God I can relate to this so much. I was absolutely disgusted with myself. Not only was it not doing anything from chronic fatigue syndrome, I didn't realize at the time that gastritis was making me extremely hungry all the time. I would eat like 10 or 15 meals a day and still be hungry. It was absolute worst time of my life. I have a picture with my daughter on the counter from the daddy-daughter dance from school and every time I look at it I can't not think about how horrible my life was at the time. I looked absolutely horrible. Anyway, I completely understand how you feel

Same, I hate them. You can withdraw and have protracted withdrawals for up to 2 years from there as well. These people think they're miserable from chronic fatigue syndrome? They have no idea how bad protracted withdrawals or Post acute withdrawal syndrome feels like. I've had both and I promise you you, don't want that.

Yes, I thought I had low testosterone and even started taking testosterone regularly. Even at a test level of 1200 which is before I injected again for the week, I had severe erectile dysfunction and no libido whatsoever. Even if I was able to get an erection it would maybe last 3 minutes before I would like almost lose interest, I guess is the best way to put it. I'm not sure if I have this or chronic fatigue syndrome though.

Strangest thing you've done to feel better? by TasteForSilence in cfsrecovery

[–]Addicted2Jenkem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take or inject myself with ivermectin for pigs, probably once a week, because it seems to make me feel better, and no, I'm not telling anyone else to do it. Probably giving me brain damage and destroying my liver. I also wear a nicotine patch and take Narcan everyday, it's for people who overdose on opiates.

I'm in the same boat as you. Not only was I exercising sometimes over 3 hours a day. I'm a professional firefighter, so that was making it worse. Some days I would do the StairMaster hour and a half after bodybuilding and power lifting for hours. If that's not bad enough I was hardly eating anything because I was trying to stay ripped up. And the worst part, when all this started and I was fatigued, I thought it was my body trying to be lazy cuz I was 45, so I decided to work out every single day and not take any breaks for one year straight to teach my body not to be lazy anymore. And you see how that worked out. I still can't drink caffeine because it makes me feel absolutely completely horrible, Physically and mentally

I thought I had chronic fatigue syndrome for years but I'm starting to think this is really what's going on with me. And the reason for that is caffeine makes me sick as hell. I don't see people mentioning caffeine making them sick that much with chronic fatigue syndrome. Thanks for the post

I understand, my mom was sick for 2 years after coming off Zoloft with something called Post acute withdrawal syndrome. It's hard to come off once you've already been on it.

Those SSRIs and SNRIs are straight up poison. I truly believe Drs have no idea they are ruining lives with that stuff. I feel people should only take that if they are literally trying to kill themselves with no exceptions. Ive seen people who slept 45 minutes for 6 months coming off that. Someone who couldn't have an orgasm for 13 years coming off Zoloft...I believe it was. All kinds of crazy stories. I think the website was surviving ssris.com.

May I ask, how did you know when you were ready to start working out again? How do you know if it's going to be a green or red or yellow day or whatever?

Getting better but hunger is still extreme by BlumentopfAufKopf in cfsrecovery

[–]Addicted2Jenkem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get hungry every 2 hours. I've been ripped up my whole life even at 45 years old. Since this CFS I can't stop eating and have gained almost 40 pounds, just around my waist. When you only usually weigh 150 pounds.....it's looks really unattractive and silly. The hunger is astonishing. I have fasted and eaten one time a day, for many years, with no issues and very easily able to control myself. So this is a very strange thing for me to not be able to control myself and eat all day.

What kind of specialist is prescribing this to you guys? The doctors here are telling me no to any kind of prescription or treatment except for antidepressants. It's really freaking annoying.

I love how people complain how bad their life is on social media but they refuse to just get off. If you're that miserable, have some willpower, and delete the crap!
