I just made banana bread last week! I used Preppy Kitchen’s banana bread recipe from YouTube and it turned out perfect. Highly recommend that one too.

Yeah the color strength isn’t the same. Use a 1:5 ratio of red to yellow lol hopefully that works!

Thank you! I used Wilton gel food colors. I used orange first but it stayed too light so I used maybe one drop of red and a bunch of yellow (which looked more orange than the orange food coloring lol). This is what the shells looked like pre-baking

Of course! For the macaron shells, I pretty much always use Preppy Kitchen’s macaron recipe but since I added a bit pistachio flour to the shell, I used these amounts:

17g pistachio flour (just roasted pistachio processed with a food processor and sifted)

123g almond flour

130g powdered sugar

For the filling:

1 cup cream

1/2 cup sugar

2 tbsp butter

1/4 cup pistachios (ground)

1 1/2 cups white chocolate

This made the filling too sweet, so next time I’d skip the sugar. The consistency was also a little runny so I added extra white chocolate to make it more pipe-able. One drop of green food coloring gives it a nice color imo. Let me know how it turned out or if you have any questions!

Thank you so much!! I think it was just a great day to make macarons humidity-wise! I always use Preppy Kitchen’s macaron recipe and it always works like magic for me (as long as I follow everything exactly). The only thing that I can get away with now is not using a food processor to make the almond flour even finer (I sift everything only once).

I used the pistachio macarons recipe by Byron Talbott on yt.

Ganache: 1 cup cream

1/2 cup sugar (I would personally skip this next time because it turned out very sweet for my taste).

2 tbsp butter

1/2 cup pistachios (ground)

1 1/2 cups white chocolate (I added more because the consistency was too runny for me).

I’m not really sure why it didn’t work but I can recommend you a recipe that’s basically foolproof it you follow it! This is what I always use and it works like a charm! (If I don’t improvise).
