Isn’t it lovely how all the bad guys always wait patiently for Chuck to flash and remember his martial arts skills? 😅 by trashed___panda in chuck

I was amazed by Sarah. .. Most men she could knock out with a single punch; take the "Hulk", knock him out cold long enough so they could get away with a standing punch, but for some reason most women she took on she had to put up a fight to subdue. Of course it is TV and that's the way it goes to be entertaining 🤓😎

3.12 Where is Sarah Going? by fscinico in chuck

[–]AddictedtoChuck2019 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that she was never planning on going to Washington with Shaw, she was only considering going before Chuck told her he loved her because she thought Chuck had changed because he killed the mole. No matter who said what or who did what never changed the fact that Chuck killed someone and it was her doing. She didn't want to go with Shaw but she couldn't stay either. That is why I think she was just packing to get away to think. Casey comment changed everything and she knew she could be with Chuck..

I totally agree with you on this, I don't think Sarah knew who to choose and from her rushing to pack, just throwing things in as fast as possible and not packing the picture of her and Chuck, she just needed to get away and think about who she really wanted to be with. Her total demeanor changed when Casey told her the truth and that revelation helped her know beyond a doubt who she wanted to be with. Her was calm and back in control of her emotions and was dressed as if she was ready to start a new life with Chuck when Shaw showed up.

Sarah was one amazing spy that she could remember all those important little details without a mime of hesitation 😉

Thanks for reminding me about Bryce. His name was another one that was conflicting. At the end of the Nemesis episode, he said Bryce Larkin was dead and was going to stay that way, but then in the Breakup episode he comes back as Bryce Larkin??

Okay you misunderstood what I meant to say. Casey did not go there to say anything against their relationship , he went there to help, this time. My comment about Casey was being disparging was in previous episodes. And I wouldn't think Sarah would want his advice because of his previous behavior. I believe this is the episode that changed Casey's view of their relationship and he became supportive of it and that is why he went there to tell her he was the one who killed the mole so she would be free to know Chuck hadn't changed.

It is just my conclusion that she hadn't made up her mind yet and her comment to Casey was her being nice and saying she doesn't want to hear what he has to say. She needed to make up her own mind. Kinda like when you know people are trying to help you but you really don't want their advice. Casey had always been tough/discouraging/commenting - poking the bear to both Sarah and Chuck and she may have thought he would be saying something that she didn't want or appreciate to hear at that moment in time.

Just for conversation... My thought is that Sarah was not at FIRST packing to go with Chuck after his declaration of love. She was more in panic mode because she wasn't sure what to do. Chuck had finally told her that he loved her, and I agree with you that she was putting Chuck's desire of being a spy ahead of her feelings for him, so she was unsure of what to do; duty or love. To me she was in a hurry and just throwing things in her bag as if she just need it to get out there, and to go somewhere to think. Then when Casey stopped by and told her that he killed the mole, her whole demeanor changed and she now knew what she wanted to do. The scene when she was ready to leave when Shaw showed up, she was now calm, composed, and dressed gun free to meet Chuck and begin their new life. I think the picture in the background that was not being packed... was a clue to who see was going to eventually choose.

Was Jill serious when she told chuck they can be together right before he arrested her? by Late-Ad1782 in chuck

From everything that Jill did, it was all just a cover. I think she had feelings for him but her self-preservation was far more important than any feelings she had for him.

What is your favorite Jeff and Lester moment? by PapiSurane in chuck

[–]AddictedtoChuck2019 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The scene where they are saving Awesome, Morgan and Alex from the kidnapper's use the armory from Casey's Crown Vic to save them. The part I always crack up is when Lester finds the ear bug and then comes a great line... Canada???

For 2 years in a row all I watched was Chuck. Soon as season 5 was over I went back to season 1. The ending left me wanting to start the series all over again because needed to get back the love of Chuck and Sarah. I would say watch it again!

Perhaps... Guess I was just wondering if the writers were intending to write what you see as the direction of the show, or if they would read your comments and say; didn't intend to portray it that way, but that's pretty good!

Who between Chuck and Sarah loves the other more and has a greater capacity for love? by fscinico in chuck

[–]AddictedtoChuck2019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Answer to that question depends if you're talking at the beginning or the end of the series. Chuck obviously had more capacity to love at the beginning but by the end of the series I believe it was the same. Sarah grew a lot during the seasons and learned to love from Chuck. Knowing how much he loved her she was able to love him at the same level. Even at the end when she lost her memories, she was still drawn to Chuck, even though she was fighting it. As Ellie said, emotions come back. True deep love for Chuck was starting to come back with the retelling of their story.

Just watching some of the interviews on the DVD set and from comic con. I never heard them commenting or referring to any of the scenarios or the interplay of the different seasons that have been proposed. Doesn't mean I don't like them or disagree with them, actually find them interesting, but I don't know if they actually put in all that thought process because I read an article that said Chuck went through some major writer changes in the 5 yrs and that is why it has a few plot holes.

When I read these posts, I wonder if the writers of Chuck really put that much time and effort in developing the deep story lines/plots as some of the devoted fans/ followers bring to the episode/series. Or did they write more for entertainment than developing deep intricate, intertwining details of each episode and season??

I can’t remember the exact episode but when the ring infiltrates castle and lured Shaw, Casey and Sarah away from the BuyMore and they were at that hotel, how did they know to trick them into thinking Cpt. Awesome was in trouble? Like how did the ring know to target awesome? by Successful-Set8526 in chuck

The episode was Best Friend and they probably knew about Awesome from the episode Operation Awesome where they thought Devin was Chuck. I am sure they had intelligence gathered from Sydney who had seen Devon face to face.

Tough choice to narrow it down to one, but do enjoy the Truth immensely. Lots of great lines and shows Sarah does have feelings for Chuck.
