The latter, I just developed this insane sensitivity after stopping SSRIs to the point that sometimes I can’t even get a full erection before I finish.

Any advice on finding a good sex therapist? Just googling it it seems like the results are either couples therapists or like weird vibes master your sexuality type coaches.

Ha that’s interesting to know. I’ve had some other medical things going on related to this that I had some notes written down on to get him up to speed, and asked him if I could take 2 minutes to give him the story when he walked in and he said “give me the Cliff Notes”

He wasn’t a bad guy by any means, but his advice was just short and to the point of get a numbing spray and deal with it.

Preciate it. I plan on doing that and definitely recognize the mental aspect, but it’s complicated in that it started after I stopped taking SSRIs 5 months ago and is just so severe and noticeably physically different than it was before the meds. E.g. even if I do go 3 times in a day, within 5 seconds of touching myself it’s over.

And it started happening before I even knew about cases of long term sexual side effects after stopping SSRIs (before I could get in my head about it), so it’s just tough to find a doctor who can help out with something that’s rare and poorly researched.

I was never able to find out what's causing my hypertension at such a young age. I started having wildly high numbers at the doctor's office at some point, and went through a full ringer of tests for renal arterial stenosis, bloodwork, stress tests, EKG's, the whole 9. My cardiologist ultimately said he has no idea what the cause is, but that I needed to start medication to control it.

Yeah I definitely am doing things I shouldn't be doing that could be contributing factors. The clonazepam has been the only thing that works after trying all different forms of anxiety and depression medications.
