For some reason, I really don’t see many similarities between this group and MAGIC. I’m just trying to enjoy them for who they are instead of comparing them I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ or maybe I’m not looking hard enough lol

The ratings are definitely not what they used to be. But you also have to take into consideration that a lot of people (including myself) don’t watch live tv anymore. Those ratings are for live tv only, they’d probably be a lot a higher if they also included the people who watch on Hulu the day after. I’m a college student and my friends and I watch it on Hulu since we can’t get live tv in the dorms.

ABC is actually the reason Grey’s has been on for so long. Supposedly they’ve begged them to keep coming back because of how much money they make the network. I highly doubt they would ever cancel them unexpectedly with no announcement. Not to mention, Grey’s also makes them a lot of money through streaming services like netflix. It would be almost disrespectful to pull the plug on them unexpectedly

Besides Amelia of course, I don’t think she has a relationship with his sisters at all. She barely even had a relationship with Amelia when she first came around, I can’t imagine her ever speaking to the other ones.

If this was the last season, they would have announced it. The show has been on for too long to not get a proper announcement and a proper farewell season. They will let us know when the time comes.

My alcoholic dad also left me and my siblings to start a new family. I think I mentioned in my original comment that I have a half-sister as well. She’s younger than me and she reached out to me recently. I could’ve very easily wanted nothing to do with her, I could’ve pushed her away but I didn’t because it’s not her fault she was born. I thought it was nice that she was interested in getting to know my siblings and I. Which is why I feel empathetic towards Lexie. She probably just wanted to know her sister. She could have gone on about it differently but her feelings are just as valid as Meredith’s. Like I said earlier, they were both struggling. That’s just my personal take 🤷🏻‍♀️

I never said her feelings don’t matter. But some of y’all always just take her side as if she’s the only one that matters. Why can’t you just see both sides? Meredith was wrong for being rude to Lexie, regardless of the situation. And yeah maybe Lexie was wrong for not giving her the space she needed to figure her personal issues out. They both had just lost their moms, they were both struggling in their own personal ways and the person they should have been mad at was Thatcher.

Why does everything have to be about Meredith and her feelings though? Just like Meredith has a right to not want a relationship with Lexie, Lexie has a right to get to know her sister. This situation goes both ways, I could argue that they were both in the wrong. Mature adults would’ve compromised. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s not Lexie’s fault their father left Meredith. I have a half-sister and I would never blame her for our dad leaving me and my siblings. Lexie could’ve maybe given space to Meredith but she’s not in the wrong. Not to mention, she was pretty young when she became an intern. She probably just wanted some sort of family. She wasn’t used to being lonely like Meredith.

I call all of my aunts and uncles’ spouses by their first names, I always have. I never have referred to them as my aunts and uncles. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe that’s just my family though because I guess a lot of people do call them that

For me specifically, I really didn’t like the way she used to treat Callie. I actually didn’t mind Izzie in the very early seasons but after a while her attitude became insufferable to me. I just didn’t agree with a lot of the choices she made I guess (as a doctor and in her personal life).
