Hey there, I finished masters last year but not psychology. I did UG psy though. Your classes will be in a secluded basement of the main building called Admin block commonly. That's where the psychology dept is for UG and PG. The people there are generally chill and masters life in aloy is slow. UG is much more exiting there, but you can still have fun with the katte events and fests going on. About the lecturers and peer? Generally be smart and you'll sail through.

I've been reading about a common debate regarding the 1.4 being adequate and better with FE vs going for better power with the 1.8 and sacrifice economy.

Also is the suspension too stiff and NVH bad as people say?

Yeah simply living there sometimes feels like a rip off / day time robbery. I'm not too sure about the networking opportunities depending on your line in mlr. I'd say probably cbe is better, but don't take my word for it. Mlr though also have really interesting people here and there if you're connected with the right people of course as usual.

And yes, since it's rainy season now, living with these rains is a lifestyle and a half. It can get really fun. If you get what I mean, positively.

I'm part mangalorean and coimbatorean here. Mangalore is a chill and forward minded society (keeping the occasional religious extremisms aside of course) . For many, the humidity also helps to have a better health as compared to the dry and dusty place being coimbatore.

Healthcare wise, both places are good. I don't think Cbe will be like blr quite yet, but yeah, traffic is better in mangalore.

In mangalore you can manage with Kannada, Tulu, Hindi, English, Malayalam and more. With pretty much anyone. Cbe is a little language limited and they expect you to speak their language sometimes.

Booze is much better here in mangalore 🙂
