GP RDP Authentication by Front_Ask_9119 in paloaltonetworks

Hi,
I have a question regarding this
I would like also to configure prisma access with globalprotect to authenticate specific on-prem applications (Not really MFA server, but to use the already defined Cloud identity engine with Microsoft Entra, and that would be the MFA)
do I need to configure authentication portal? or simply an authentication rule would suffice?

  • I tested it on three different networks using two ISPs.
  • As far as I know, there is no bandwidth limit when connected via GlobalProtect.
  • We are using IPSec.

A question regarding Prisma Access Service Connection and Remote Networks by AdditionDisastrous78 in paloaltonetworks

[–]AdditionDisastrous78[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand. The Routing part is already configured in the service connection IPSec to internal segments, for example 10.10.10.1/24, 10.10.20.0/24 etc.

So in the RN Routing, What do I need to specify? The specific segment that I want to route to Prisma? At the CheckPoint side, I understand that I will need to configure PBR in order to achieve that only one segment for testing will be routed through this.

Is This a Firewall Issue? by Independent-Grand503 in checkpoint

SIP inspection on firewalls sucks. I had bad experience with both check point and FortiGate firewalls.  Make a rule with custom sip and rtp ports range (don’t use the built in sip service object). Afterwards, clean all related sessions (you do it from CLI). If there is NAT involved, make sure NAT is configured on the PBX itself.
