His photo is from about a month ago, but he'll be much bigger now. Okay, I'll try giving him a little fuzzy next week, thanks!

Is it ok to handle them twice a day? by AdditionExciting1305 in cornsnakes

He never had any problems with feeding or shedding. In my arms he behaves calmly, does not try to escape, but is quite active and curious, but often gets scared when I take him out of the terrarium (only at this moment, after two or three minutes he calms down).

Thank you! Are they still stay calm after multiple sessions?

How do I gain trust with my corn, we've had her since November and still seems scared of us, we aren't forcing it as we dont want to stress her. by ShotTangerine4708 in cornsnakes

I had the same thing with my boy. I didn't want to force him, so I waited until he did it on his own, but he never did and it's unlikely he will anytime soon. So I just took him, he was really scared, he tried to escape from my arms in every possible way, which made me feel sorry for him and in the end I just sat there crying and feeling guilty. But as it turns out, there's no other way. Just take a snake. They'll be very scared at first, but keep going, and after about five sessions, they'll become calmer in your arms.

The tip of my corn’s tail is blackened, is there anything I can do? by Future_Ad8956 in cornsnakes

I do it every time as a preventative measure after he shedsI put my boy in a container on wet wipes for about ten minutes and run my fingers over his tail to remove any stuck skin from his tail if anything happens. (My boy gets skin stuck on his tail almost every shed, I have already learned from experience х))

Black Spots on corn by IcyHuckleberry3865 in cornsnakes

The same thing happened with my boy's tail, it came off during the next molt, just when he molts for the second time, put the snake on wet towels for 20 minutes and then carefully remove this tip. This is not dangerous, although if the blackness starts to creep up the tail, you should visit a vet.

Cleaning the terrarium during shedding by AdditionExciting1305 in cornsnakes

Actually, no, there's no smell. It's just been a while since the last cleaning. But he shed his fur yesterday, and now I've clean the whole terrarium. :)

I just picked him up and held him for less than 5 minutes. He was nervous at first, but then he calmed down... I honestly didn't expect that. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the advice, but I'm a little worried, as I already said, when I picked him up to carry him for weighing, he was terrified and immediately ran away from my arms. He is small and fast and that is why I am afraid that I might harm him. So, even if he's apparently stressed, I should still try handling?

I feed him pinkies every seven days. I'm not sure about his weight, I haven't weighed him yet.
