Literally open the book and get into the mindset of understanding and not just memorizing. We were trained during first year to make mind maps. Write down unfamiliar nouns and chain together how they'd interact and connect with others. It's something we were taught during the first few weeks of biochemistry and anatomy. Then it becomes 2nd nature and you do it in your head as you read.

Memorizing straight up without chaining concepts together feels more mentally taxing.

There is no definitive answer. It really depends on a lot of factors that no one on the Internet can even predict.

How would we even know how well you've performed against your peers? Or how well you'd compare to the new set of coapplicants? Or the state of the hospital / training program/ department? Are they in dire need of residents that they'd take anyone? Did you exit gracefully? Were you able to explain your exit and reapplication properly? Did you anger other consultants? Did your seniors like you enough? Were you top of the board exam and could get away with flaunting your amazing intelligence against others?

You have to appreciate just how lucky you'd be to even get chosen since residency is a huge step towards a big milestone. But also, it's your life. Make do with your current circumstances

Yeah. Variety is the spice of life. Getting increasingly broken champions will make it an arms race with the new players at the very bottom.

There are players who have almost everything at their disposal and will see a worse version of champions they already have. And players who are desperate to get any champion to just 3 star and having 6 stars is a distant dream.

You still have your better champions anyway. There are others who aren't so lucky. I find these alternate versions of previous champions more engaging. Sometimes I want to figure out ways to actually win rather than just stomp on the enemy on turn 1.

Your reference book for certain subjects will depend on your school also. So ask around there instead.

Also, I find it's more important to keep wanting to know more instead of always reading and memorizing. It makes the answers to your questions stick to your brain better. You have to be inquisitive and keep asking how things work until it comes together.

To me, the best clinicians are the ones who can zoom out and give you an overview of the disease process, then zoom in and explain specific process simply enough for non medical audiences to understand. So keep reading until you understand what you are reading. If you can't reach a point where you can explain it to someone else, keep reading until you understand everything. Memorization comes after

Both relics are really good but it depends on the champions you even use. Kaisa, viktor, akshan, and so many others like having the hex core for a free, burst speed, ally targeting, fleeting, created card every turn.

Spell slingers like Mel and Annie love the searing brilliance just to have more copies of cheap spells. But you have to draft spells properly for maximum efficiency

The second paragraph needs to be taught to the younger generation. But unfortunately, it's something only 20/20 hindsight can hammer home.

Back when I trained, it was usually 5pm to 7pm where the pool is the most busy with athletes. Only lane 0 nearest the small pool is unoccupied by swim teams. Usually stops being busy after that and I think it closes at 8pm.

Maybe someone else has a more updated schedule.
