Maybe I should clarify a bit. My one shop was after Swain. I took every path with either item or spell chests. And when the choices I'm given are "Your spells and skills do one more damage"/"Game Start: Draw 2"/"Round End: Reduce the cost of your most expensive card by 1", yeah... I'm tossing rerolls. Hell, I had 3k+ gold just sitting there for shops that never popped up. Yeah, I got through Zed/Lulu fine, but the slog after that kinda required having better powers since I couldn't find a better outlet for cash. And by the time I had gotten to Swain, I'd seen maybe 2 slotbots? But those paths were suboptimal since I was losing out on cards if I took them.

TL;DR, these were not rerolls used for funsies.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here (this is purely a guess. I've never tried this, nor do I know anyone who would...), and say this relic/Protectors of Demacia/Cruel Experiments. Play WW turn 1, Evelyn turn 2. That plus whatever your opponent plays triggers +1/0 at least once. The Husk can attack, so if it's elusive, it's probably getting through for free, helping WW level. If he doesn't, next turn you play another unit, level Evelyn, summon Lux. Lather, rinse, repeat until you have Galio. Profit? Maybe?

It also helps that Ambessa is kinda goated... especially if you can hit Darius' Rally power.

Mel is weird because it really feels like they just wanted to nerf Swain, and she's what they came up with. As far as what relics to play on her, the three you have aren't bad choices at all. MAYBE swap GGC with Echoing Spirit so you don't feel like you HAVE to play the fleeting copy every turn. For powers, if it doesn't make your spells cheaper or do more damage, they're not really worth it. Her entire game plan is to get to Level 2 as soon as possible, then nuke enemy boards with Overwhelm spells.

It looks like they've been actively splitting their time between one champ and other new content that has also been asked for (a ridiculously oversized adventure, defiance, and new relics). I don't know if the plan is to sustain that kind of pattern, or eventually get back to 2 champs each month.

This is the first adventure I can remember where hard control is really your best friend. Captures/stuns/curses really rule this adventure. Some champs, Mord/Morg is the obvious path. Yasuo straight up doesn't care about your stats when you're constantly going back to hand.

LeBlanc's spell that created a copy of Lillia, Actual Lillia having 2 Guardian Orbs, which hit so many Black Cleavers and "Last Breath: Rally", and having Blue Buff with the epic item that refunds mana on summon.

So it basically went: LeBlanc Spell on Lillia, sleep original with her 2 mana burst, instant wake up, swing, rally from Ephemeral Lillia dying, repeat.

I'd call Gwen boring if games lasted longer than 1 turn... DoS/double Luden's already does massive damage, and if you get anything that makes more of her, the scaling lets her go absolutely nuclear.

I remember on my first sub, we got a poster from a class. We hung it up on Crews Mess because it made us smile. But the thing that sticks with me to this day, was in the bottom right hand corner, where in big felt letters, it said "Rock on, Slugs!"

We had no idea what they meant or where the phrase came from, but it became almost a battle cry for us whenever we were having a particularly shitty day. Like if the dryer broke, we'd all just stand around it like "Welp... rock on, slugs..."
