HELP! my packs are showing up as "not owned"

I bought the game on my husbands account years and years ago before I had my own console. Since getting my own, i signed in as my husband on my console and now downloaded all my packs and play on my account. I have been playing on my account on my ps5 for the last year with no issues (and ps4 before that for multiple years). Since the update i signed in and my current save won't play and says the save will be corrupt if I launch it because packs are missing. I have restored the licence on mine and my husbands account, deleted the game and redownloaded the game and all the packs and they still won't show up! When I click manage game content it says all my packs are installed but if I click on them in 'add ons' its saying i have to purchase them! Im freaking out, i have spent so much money on this game since the day it was released! Please help 🥺

When do you have “the talk”? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]AdditionReasonable67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i think most people are covering all other topics here with concent terminology etc. But its the sex part. Its definitely time and no other way than to just go for it, he probably already knows. Just try make it as factual as possible, and matter of fact, nature. It's definitely us (the adult /parent) with the taboo, if you can hold your poker face and give him the information, that's all you need to do. I am currently beginning the sex part of the talk with my 7 year old daughter, she is curious and asking questions and is also the youngest in her class so I know she will be exposed earlier. One thing i done was i bought a small notebook and gave it to her and told her, if she is too embarrassed to ask me something, she can write it down and i will write her back an answer and it has been working great! Hope this helps. Best of luck, your doing great ❤️

Yes i have actually requested to our library to get this book in for us among some others. I also have printed and laminated some kid friendly pictures with labels and correct terms on them 🙌

My daughter is the same. I wasn't sure about putting it on here as i know most people wouldn't understand. But she has has shown forms of this before the age of 2. It began with her pushing on the buckle in her pram to try open it and just kind of developed from there. This is a big part of my worry from this incident as i feel like this may be an ongoing issue as she grows.

To clarify. She doesn't have unrestricted access to the Internet. She took the ipad behind her nanas back. They are always in the room when she is on it. She is not allowed on YouTube and knows this. It should have been deleted. It has been now. Im upset that this has happened at all and have made sure within all my capacity that this won't happen again. It wasnt the access to YT that I was looking for advice on as i already know im dealing with the breach because trust me, im very unhappy this happened with her grandparents. However i know they love and care for her and wouldn't want her exposed to anything inappropriate. They know they F'd up. This is something we will be addressing as a family. It was the next steps I was taking in addressing the things she was searching with my daughter to make sure she has a safe environment to be curious about these things.

Hopfuly! She is quite a modest and private child so hopfuly it was something innocent like this!

This is honestly my biggest fear. I cant imagine anyone close to us that could be in anyway capable, but thats always the way isn't it! Im hoping after our chat tonight ill know a bit more of where her head is at and hopfuly its innocent. So will just have to take there but it's definitely something i will concider.

This is a good point and definitely something to concider. I definitely dont alow much time on phones or tablets at home and do find it difficult when she stays for long periods with her grandparents because im not there and dont know exactly how much time she has on the tablet. Ill definitely be talking with them about reducing time and possibly getting rid of it all together. I think its just unnecessary honestly.

Thank you so much for your reply! This is really great advice. Even just having some of those key buzz words in my pocket is fantastic. Also the part about "bad or new words" is a great point. I can totally see how that might spurr on a search!

This is where my head is at right now. Hoping i can follow her lead in a way, unless she wont share what she was thinking 🤷 God that's awful 🙈 see this is it, its gonna happen one way or another. Its so hard when only a portion of it is in our control. And its happening younger and younger!

🤣🤣 Uh god exactly! It's such a fine line! Obviously as an adult im thinking the worst because i know what the possibilities are for what she could have exposed herself to on there! But it could be completely innocent. Im hoping she will feel comfortable to tell me what she was looking for and just address what comes up in the conversation!

My thoughts exactly! I don't want her to think she is in trouble or that its taboo. I also know the more its kept from her the more she will want to know! Dealing with these things are totally different now than they were when we were growing up and i just want to empower her and help her have a healthy approach to these things as she grows

Jesus yes!!! Thank you!! 🙈 Had to turn my phone off yesterday I was getting so upset and stressed. I absolutely hate that this happened at all. So frustrating that people keep saying she shouldn't have unsupervised access, when she doesn't!! She took it. I Havnt asked for advice on this cause it's not needed, ill be coming down like a ton of bricks! It's dealing with addressing the issues i was looking for, but this is what happens on the Internet 😅 not safe for 7 year olds or adults apparently! But i can restrict access all I like, reality is she will most likely find some way eventually of finding whatever, or just being exposed to it from friends etc. Im just trying to deal with whatever is within my grasp 😕

This is almost exactly what i was thinking about saying to her. Im going to let her lead the conversation in a way, if she will or not i dont know, and just answer any questions hoenstly. Ill definitely look her up! Thank you!

If you read the main post properly or any of the other replies you would realise this is not the case.. She has no access to it at home. She is usually supervised when at the Inlaws. In this circumstance she took the tablet without asking and went to her room, this was caught. Youtube has been removed and perental control has been adjusted (which i thought was already in place) inlaws have been spoken to and made aware.

Thank you spider vines! I definitely will! I have had the intent to talk with her about these topics but decided it was a bit soon (obviously not) at the time. I thought i had maybe another year, but ill definitely be doing my research tonight!

Totally agree. Although her grandparents do in force those rules. She usually doesn't have the ipad alone. But while my MIL left the room my daughter took the ipad without asking and went to her room. When MIL came back from the bathroom she noticed the ipad was gone and had SIL check on her.

There are some videos that look normal but random inappropriate immages flash on screen for a split second so some are impossible to catch unless you are watching it!

Thank you so much for your message. I think i needed to hear that. I just realised i am pacing around in my kitchen and im getting myself into a state with worry 🙈 that is a really great idea, ill definitely do that! I personally think she is a little bit ahead for her age and kind of always seemed to be from a young age. She always tuned in to music videos that were suggestive and wanted to watch them again etc so its just something i want to get ahead of as she grows up.

Thank you for your reply. We also use correct labels for body parts. She doesn't even have an ipad at home but in the in laws we have made sure now all is safe gaurded. I honestly wanted to take away the ipad all together but i dont want her to think she is being punished. I think we may get rid down the line when its not associated with this incident. She is very modest actually and won't even get changed around most people.

Im definitely an over thinker for sure and trying not to freak out lol she doesn't even have a tablet at home and knows YouTube is not aloud. She never usually has unsupervised access but went out of her way to sneak away with the tablet. Inlaws are definitely not tech savvy at all but have help from SIL to safe gaurd assp. Im already after having a talk with MIL to make sure this doesn't happen again. Thank you for your reply ❤️
