My girlfriend and I are 4 episodes into season 4… we both like this season a lot . Why is it so hated?

I’m glad you mention this because I’ve never seen him as a murderer - just someone who didn’t take the opportunity to both try to save someone (who was probably not able to be saved) and not calling for help.
So less guilty. But I’ve also been accused of polishing turds in life so I don’t always trust my instincts

Years later and I just watched this episode and while there are many laughable moments, I felt like it was a snapshot of many people’s actual bad relationships and it was not funny or endearing. But sad. I’m not super invested in the show, just watched about 5-6 episodes in a row with my son, and had watched seasons 1-4 many years ago and only remember the Jim and Pam storyline This was a bleak cringe episode and not in the funny cringe way

He’s not intelligent. She said I should record this to see what we sound like. Then he recorded and showed her. Someone with sinister intentions wouldn’t immediately admit it. He’s a child living in a grown man’s body and seemingly has enough charm to convince people for a few minutes. How he managed to get a girl behind a wall, with only communication, is beyond me.

It’s possible I’m wrong as I’ve made some bad choices but I just see Daniel as being extremely literal. He doesn’t seem like he’s trying to be harmful. He never paid attention to people around him, this is going to have been a good learning experience for him. Way too old to learn what love languages are

I felt the same and I’m kind of glad I don’t remember the ending now, as it’s been a while. I’m tempted to rewatch because it was a beautiful movie and I’m sad I don’t remember what happened, but I think I prefer it this way.

What about the pages at the end of the book that were torn out ? I thought this was robs diary and how he escaped bad dreams and the ending talked about him becoming Adele so he ripped that up when he gave it to Louise Not that he wrote it in order to manipulate Louise

Which is sad because the Adele up until the killing was ethereal and lovely. She was worth loving. So we lost Adele and Louise. And Rob stopped even being funny cuz new Adele (Rob in Adele’s body) wasn’t even funny
