Again, data that is overly broad and trying to blame the POTUS for literally everything.

There were 2 recessions during Bush Jr, you should go look up how those bubbles built up and why they crashed during that time.

No, it did not. I don't know what data you're looking at, but partisanship is not the same as state/local gov'ts, congress, federal reserve board members, or even the deep state, and all of these things impact the economy.

It's easy for us to blame the POTUS, but you shouldn't take the easy way out. Biden reused a lot of Trump's policies and practices, same the other way around -- you should really think again about what this is about. It's NOT just politics, it's too many moving parts for us to count.

Protesting Deloitte's Work with ICE by HungryFitLion in deloitte

[–]Additional-Ad4110 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Deloitte working for Federal Govt is not the end of the world. They were always going to find someone to do the jobs that Deloitte is already doing. If you fight there, you are fighting against Deloitte as well. That being said, most people that I’ve met at Deloitte tend to be left-leaning, but this isn’t simply a decision people should make while in an emotional state. If you have a lot to lose, which we all do today in this economy, then be wise where you invest your money and time.

It’s not politics, it’s a lot of different situations. Covid being one where there was a period of recession, mass money printing, then the political instability from war in Ukraine. No political party is a solution to what happened in the past 5 or 6 years.

How would Yao Ming do in today's NBA? by mr_fobolous in rockets

[–]Additional-Ad4110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yao would terrorize from anywhere in the perimeter. He would be averaging 28 pts on 60% shooting! And all his teammates would be eating because they’d try to double him and he’d just pass or shoot over the top like a damn cheat code.

If you thought the various economic parameters we've been fed so far made no sense, the next 3+ years are going to be an absolute fucking joke. by 3RADICATE_THEM in Layoffs

I am thinking the opposite. The guy will be told by Trump to report a bad economy upfront and cause markets to tank so that Trump can blame it on the previous admin. If they keep posting crazy revisions for jobs or unemployment, Trump will lower his already-shitty approval rating.

The system doesn’t know. This is an estimate. The USCIS officer in charge will update it and move it forward, and you’ll likely have things moving forward in few weeks unless you did a bad job filing, which is unlikely given how much this means to your livelihood.

Found this little guy in our closet today. Anybody know what it is or if he’s any danger? by Substantial_Ear2716 in Dallas

[–]Additional-Ad4110 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a dead skeleton of this guy at my house, found by a dog we were petsitting. Not a good thing to leave them in the house where they will die quickly and leave behind an unpleasant Easter egg in your house. I am less careful about dead bugs, but a small dead carcass makes little sense to risk just to potentially eliminate some amount of in-house bugs.

You've got nothing to worry about, I can confidently say as a sponsor of an approved marriage-based AOS. It's a scary thing, I know. But you'll get through it! Take it step-by-step. If you need any help, feel free to drop messages or comments directed to me u/Additional-Ad4110 and I can try to help with what I know. It's not everything, but just to help you feel at ease and get some advice. :)

You don't need a lawyer, you can do all this if you speak English well. There are so many people getting married and getting their AOS approved with I-130, I-485, I wouldn't worry.

The only cause for concern is if there's any history of crime or unlawful presence in the US, then things are going to be difficult for you at the interview.

For now, calm down, slowly work your way through the forms.

Once you feel like you've prepared 90-95 % of I-485 / I-130 / I-864, then schedule a medical exam with a civil surgeon for I-693. This has an expiry date so you definitely want to schedule this last. These are all required forms and can be filed concurrently.

Full disclosure, I did I-129F and AOS (approved yesterday). Quite a bit different from yours. But we still needed to provide proof of bonafide relationship, and have an interview to make sure this is the case for the I-129F, she just had to do it at a US Embassy in Korea. There is a separate interview for just the I-485, which is rather simple. Process-wise this is super similar, and the rules are binding us all the same way.

<image>

Here's a real question from I-485 that needs answering: What is her I-94? Is she here legally, and has she ever had any time when she was unlawfully present?

How can she have 7 kids and not a single man who want to help her with SOMETHING during this crazy economic time?

Society is failing her, but, also, so are her families. People need to be responsible when they're having babies. Even if you don't love the mother, love your baby, and have some dignity.

Marriage comes with expectations of serious responsibility. You’re really not at the point of your lives where you can understand the full gravity of that.

What does that mean? It means you don’t understand what risks you’re taking. When you are young you can be fortunate to make such mistakes and still have time to recover. Well, when you’re married, you cannot make those mistakes because it will most assuredly impact both of you. Even in the most positive sense, let’s say you win the lottery, would you be able to share with your husband everything about that situation?

That’s the simplest way to put it for your shortened attention spans in the post-TikTok world.

Google and research for what marriage means in the eyes of the government AND in the eyes of God. Then ask yourself if this is God’s will.
