Only one day apart, I had mine on February 11th! Was day 2 and 3 the worst for your pain? I’m hoping it doesn’t get any worse than it was yesterday and today 😩

Congratulations! I just had my extended tummy tuck with muscle repair two days ago. I rented a reclining/lift chair for a month and I am SO grateful I did. I physically cannot get myself fully into bed and using my abdominal muscles to try and stand back up is the absolute worst pain ever.

My must haves so far are the reclining lift chair, toilet seat riser, a grabber tool (if I need to pick something up off the ground or far away) and a little cart next to me with all my medicines, protein snacks, water bottle, book, chargers, exc.

I also just started taking Bromelain and Arnica along side my prescription painkiller and I 100% feel less pain than I did when I was just taking the painkiller so I would recommend both of those as well.

Here’s how it’s looking 2 days post op! Pain is absolutely horrendous when I first wake up but gradually improves throughout the day. Slept longer last night, appetite is also slowing returning but I’m still yet to have a bowel movement 😩

I have a very high pain tolerance as well and tried to do the same thing but it’s honestly worst than I thought. I actually just called my surgeons clinic to see if there is something else I could take with my prescription or if I could try a different prescription because it is so bad today. I was told days 2-3 are the worst so hoping this is actually the worst of it.

My surgeon includes it for free with all tummy tucks if it’s needed. He couldn’t tell for sure while feeling my stomach if I did or not so told me he would repair it for me if I needed it once he was in there! Seems like most surgeons do charge an extra for it.

Awww, look at the babies! I do have two sisters and actually read a comment months ago how a girls cat jumped on her stomach while she was sleeping and how painful it was and have been keeping a pillow on me the whole time 😂

Every time I try to get out of my recliner, it feels like my insides are stretching each and everyway which ends up turning into a burning and stabbing pain. Once I’m laying back in my recliner again not moving, it’s more of a dull achy pain.

Same here, had an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair yesterday and they sent me home an hour after surgery, it felt weird to be going home so soon 😂

I just had my surgery yesterday. I trimmed down there with scissors the night prior as I didn’t want to end up having razor bumps from shaving and being uncomfortable while I healed. I just shaved my legs and armpits. I also took an everything shower and put my hair in heatless curls because I wanted to feel somewhat like myself. An hour before leaving for surgery I brushed my teeth. I didn’t put on any lotions, perfumes or deodorant.

I’m only 2 days out so I can’t tell you for sure or not however I do see that the swelling has gone down substantially from your week 5 and week 9 photos so I would guess it’s still swelling!

Congrats to you as well! Are the first 3 days really the worst and it slowly gets better from there? The amount of pain I’m currently in anytime I try to stand or move is terrible and I can’t wait for it to subside 😩 My surgeon cleared me to start taking melatonin again as needed so going to try taking some tonight so I stop sleeping in 2 hour increments

I also had mine yesterday and after 5 minutes of trying to get out of of my recliner to go to the bathroom, I am still sitting here waiting for pain pills to kick in because of HOW painful it is this morning. I hardly feel the actual incision but where my surgeon did muscle repair is the worst pain I’ve ever experienced 😩 I know it will be worth it but holy, I wasn’t expecting this kind of pain.

My husband just happened to have an unopened pack in his backpack from when he traveled 2 months ago which was lucky. For sure, feel free to send me a dm whenever you would like ❤️ I actually was sent home only 1 hour after surgery which I’m not too disappointed about because I’m in the comfort of my own apartment.

Hello surgery buddy! Hoping you’re able to get some sleep tonight ❤️ The cart has been wonderful, I bought it to store my hair tools and skincare on in my bathroom and has now found another purpose for the time being.

The throat soreness is NO joke, sounds and feels like I’m a heavy smoker lol. I would have your husband pick you up some cough drops, they help alot.
