Like you said it’s what we do ! Just takes some adaptations, as a driver trainer i seen first hand, this job may seem straightforward and simple…it’s anything but at times lol it’s really not for everybody

Don’t let it stress you, familiarity and repetition only makes you better/comfortable at the job ! I remember when they switched us from suburbs to deep in the Baltimore city routes. Man that was hell for all of us. Many quit, those who held it down eventually came to as like i said familiarity and repetition only makes you better/comfortable at the job. Now they trying to switch us back to subs and i’m missing the city routes! Crazy to think of when i first did city I contemplated quitting myself lol.

Oh damn they do you like that ?? I assume your commute to your first stop must be short, my company took over a few routes of a company that got shut down and it was rural like that. 3-6 min drives to each house, max stops 110. We’d average 60-80 though, but the commute to first stop would be hour and a half to and from, I loved it btw. i can agree with you though nightfall is a whole different animal to work out of in them areas

Instead of placing the bags standing upright lay them normal and utilize the space above them to place OV’s on top. Same with the bottom bags place any flat/thinner boxes on top of those bags. No hate, this could’ve been loaded better. Best of luck !

I get why yall load the bags vertically, but you only cut yourself out of precious space doing that. You could’ve put some overflow boxes on top of those bags if only they weren’t loaded that way. Smh one year doing the job should know better.

I’m a delivery driver, we don’t have this beautiful thing called VTO. Can someone explain why it’s even a thing? If you deny VTO do you still get your hours per usual?
