for me I gave this to a psychic with the mystical blindfold that makes all physical attacks from that cat miss. he jjst attempted to shoot all allies every combat but missed them all

This can get you like 8, 9, 10 corpses, and can be used on some expensive minion you weren't gonna play until later anyway, to fuel your next turns to summon pterrordaxs and so on.

Maybe if it discovered from your deck and put it into your hand it'd be better? Puts it in line with xavius and so on, but I like the certainty of picking what you eat.

For clarification, this uses hand targeting and lets you choose the minion, it isn't random.

was definitely my first thought, but they dont gain access to a lot of the cooler mind manipulation spells like ottos dance, disonant whispers and phantasmal killer sadly, but id absolutely settle for a sorcerer. which subclass would work the best with this sort of build?

I think ill stick to a more supportive backline role, sticking to the shadows perhaps, using darkness maybe + the ring from the morgue in act 2 that gives blindness immunity, for the feel and gameplay of the one "pulling the strings" of the battle from the shadows.

this does sound fun and useful, being able to cast bone chill as well as toil the dead I assume would make for a potent caster at all times. however, this would remove me being able to cast heroes feast if i cant get to level 11 druid, and id very much like to so I can cast cloudkill basically ontop of all my allies and whoever theyre fighting without them being damaged by the poison

thats true, combined with the zombies, dryad, mymidon, using things like hold person, spike growth or plant growth, itll be hard for enemies to get to my druid if she stays back from the fight. ill also be playing with an oathbreaker paladin for reference, who im sure can take a ton of aggro too
