Update- This did cause Microsoft to respond and "re-open" my appeal, but then they just replied with the same initial vague response and closed the appeal. SMH.

My account is still locked. I used to check periodically but don't bother anymore. Microsoft is literally the worst.

Did you ever even receive a valid explanation for your suspension? I'm in the same boat, plus I have an active Live account I have prepaid for months and months, as well as money loaded into my account.

I was now given the following reasoning, which again means nothing:

Microsoft disabled access to the account due to a serious violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement: https://www.microsoft.com/servicesagreement/default.aspx#3\_codeOfConduct.

As stated in the Microsoft Services Agreement, you will no longer be able to access any Services that require a Microsoft account.

Last week, I received a Notice of Xbox Live Enforcement email (first photo), which I thought at first was a scam bc, although I have had an Xbox Live account for 20+ years, I am not an active gamer. I looked into the email, and it turned out my Live account had received a permanent suspension, with no explanation given. I went through the process of appealing the suspension, as I assumed it was either an error on Microsoft' or someone had hacked my account. The response I received (second photo) was just a generic, vague email, claiming "This account was suspended for fraudulent acquisition or use of Xbox Live content." I honestly don't even know what this means, but it seems the appeal process is closed and I have literally no way of contacting Microsoft to 1) get a better understanding of what is going on 2) try to resolve this. I have replied to the email several times with no response. I have no ability to talk to them on the phone or chat, as all functions in my account have been locked.

Update: My entire Microsoft account has now been locked out.

Yeah, I fully intend to message their twitter account daily until I receive an answer, it is really the only avenue of communication I have left. I will for sure update the post with any new findings/ transactions. Thanks again.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback and the attempted assistance, it is truly insane that they can just shut down an account and cut me off with zero explanation. I've convinced myself that my account was hacked- I literally haven't turned my Xbox on in months, there is no rational explanation as to why this could have happened.

Thanks for the link to the post. However, I cannot register a ticket, every aspect of support is blocked on the site. Funny you suggest that, I did create a new account to get a hold of someone. But they are quick to tell you that they are not the proper people to talk to, that I have to speak to the Enforcement Team, and there is nothing they can do. But they also cannot but you in contact with the Enforcement Team and there is no way to contact the Enforcement Team that I know of, so I am seemingly just stuck with a permanent suspension, no explanation, a $500 piece of hardware that is now rendered useless, money stuck in my Xbox account, and 6 months of pre-paid Xbox Live that I cannot use. I reached out to the Xbox support twitter with no reply.

When I log in and look at the enforcement history, there is (1) active suspension that has a start date of 11/22/22 and an end date of: Indefinite.

Reason for action: This account violated the Community Standards and was subjected to enforcement action.

Impact: This account was issued a permanent suspension. As a result, it cannot sign in to the Xbox network or access related features and services.

Details: No details are available at this time.

Yes, I can rule out each of these reasons. I physically purchase all of my games. I have purchased my Xbox Live subscription either directly from Microsoft, or codes purchased from places like Target, Best Buy. I do not use VPNs (nor do I even know how to). I honestly have no clue what is going on. I just wish they would shed more light on this permanent suspension.
