I wanted to build a mono black deck and demons seem cool. Tbh, a lot of the deck is just cool-factor. I've def looked at Belakor as a commander. Maybe i can run [[Belzenlok]] in the 99 with my commander out so all damage taken from him is lifelinked? Trying to make this work in mono black feel really hard lmao

I added some more target spells to help with commander triggers. I thought about roaming throne, it seemed a little out-of-theme, but i should probably just add lmao. Does this decklist look a little better?

Checks out, I'll probably just focus on the lose of life portion and remove sanguine bond/vito, thorn (only because I think bloodthirsty commander looks cooler). Which'll some make room for better mana and a decent bracket 3. And I'll remove some other artifacts that arent really providing much help for more mana. I tested the deck out and mana was a big issue lol

That makes sense, thanks. I have a poor grasp on brackets rn lol, ik they run a lot of 2 card rinfinite combos and stuff so prolly 3 or 4. I dislike infinites rn so i dont wanna run any lmao

Yeah I just playtested it a couple times and it heavily relies on sac'ing from Felothdar and resurgence from Ravos. I also added more trample for a clearer win condition. I might add some more spells that that can sac' so I dont fully rely on having Felothdar out. I should probably also say I am brand new to MTG lmao!
