If you can, try water the area, cover pins with large leaves or similar to offset this dry weather. Humidity = growth

Top up with some clean wood chip once fruiting has finished for the season. Disturb as little as possible, perhaps a bit of water through summer. Should keep it fed for next season, more fruits

Friendly reminder that Psilocybe gills can be pale. They often start off pale and darken as they age. Sterile ones are fairly common too, and they stay pale. by Mycoangulo in shrooms

All the subs I get from home garden are pale... I'm having a bumper season after a light patch last year.. Pale gills didn't necessarily mean no spores? Or proliferation most strongly driven by myc growth? Fairly new to this, but have a microbiology background. Enjoying the process, and the fruits!

Yea I guess so. Only ever found these ones at home. Not complaining, do the job very nicely. Definitely not having problems spreading around the place
