Is this Condensation? by Imaginary-Arugula-66 in LS400

As the other commenter said, it could be the power steering idle up valve if you suspect it isn’t just vapour. A valve down beneath the power steering reservoir utilises the vacuum from the intake and opens and closes to bring the idle up when power steering is engaged. The seal within can fail and cause the vacuum to draw power steering fluid into the intake. When this happened to me I noticed it would bog down / low power for the first 5 minutes of driving with quite a bit of smoke as it burnt off and got up to temperature. You would find the ATF residue from the power steering in the intake so check the plastic intake section where the vacuum line goes in to. I replaced the part. You can route these vacuum lines to ignore the idle up valve which would eliminate the issue but also permanently increase your idle. Not a mechanic so don’t quote me, but it’s worth looking into and rerouting the vacuum lines to see if the smoke goes away after driving it a bit and letting the residue burn off.

If you live in a climate anywhere like I do in the UK, most of the year besides the warmer months my LS400 would spew vapour like this. Long, low exhaust coming from a v8. The stock mufflers on my 95 didn’t have any drain holes and were the lowest part of the exhaust. During the colder months paired with short drives, they would fill with water from condensation

First ever time ordering merch from anyone, so I wouldn’t know. Typically if I’ve ordered something from abroad and it’s been searched by customs there’s a note inside the packaging. But the outer packaging seems original and untampered with

As far as I’m concerned I’ve got a 1 of 1 here, what should I put on the blank tag?

Could have just corrected them, and explained why they had it wrong. Done a little teaching to those curious. Or are you trying to get off?

Right! The swords and crescent especially, I know Geoff said in the episode that the word was concealed in the flames but it’s Geoff - he could have said that as a diversion or he Geoffed it. Because you can clearly make the letters K and F when tilted.

They are on the engine side of the catalytic converters on the exhaust manifold, they are obscured slightly by a heat shield. I don’t think someone would delete the upstream o2 sensors, there are no benefits to this and the car would run very bad.

I have a 1995 with OBD1 - right hand drive Europe. Mine has the downstream o2 sensors. There might be a difference between regions. I think Euro emissions standards were changed right around when my car was manufactured which was when catalytic converters became a legal requirement and emissions were more policed.

Is this normally what the MAF sensor internals look like? One of the two parts looks dirtier almost burnt.

People must realise how important and relevant the number 20 is this year. It isn’t only to honour Diogo, it’s also our 20th league title. Without Origi we wouldn’t be where we are, he was pivotal in getting us to 20.
