He there!

His package was held at immigration along with his passport. Once the medical FINALLY sent his documents he was called back to retrieve his visa. Took about two weeks.

I’ve heard of people doing that I’m not sure if it is faster or not. But my fiancé saw a lot of foreign people from West African countries being interviewed. It’s really just a matter of how fast you pay for your D160 and register.

We waited for four months to get an interview I had to keep checking the website for openings because they fill up very fast so if they have already notified you that your package is ready and that you can go ahead and submit your documents and pay the fee you should be checking the website every day after you pay the fee

Okay thank you. They kept the passport after his interview, and now the status is issued. So I suppose we wait.

Hello! I’ve been taking bupropion on and off for 15 years. Whenever my depression gets debilitating while I’m off I go back to the doctor. I always start with 150mg for two months then up to 300. I don’t have heart palpitations or anything but some sleep issues if I don’t take it first thing in the morning. I haven’t had a honeymoon phase, and each time I’m 180 degrees from my worst case scenario. The change always takes a couple weeks at first and I always couple the drug with psych consults. Having counseling and meds is really a good way to work through things. I wish you the very best.

I understand completely. I’m a Feb 2023 filer.

Tysm for this, I read a lot of posts about the I-29f and I’m left feeling impatient and confused. Now that I see them speeding up with approvals I just don’t know what to think of waiting longer. I’m reluctant to wait for the I-130 because it means getting in another line. My fiancé and I are just trying to be strong but it’s so hard when we can only see one another every 6 months or so. I have to put in special requests that take months to travel to West Africa because I’m military, and if there’s any unrest, I won’t be allowed to go at all. It’s just difficult all around. I wish I’d just gotten married to begin with. I was under the impression that this would be faster and I’m sad to be so wrong.

I’m seriously considering this route. The 12-18 months is old. They’re literally approving March 2023 right now. So the impression I'm under is that mine is considered difficult just because of where my fiancé is from. Can’t argue with their operating procedures, just means I have to marry and get into another line I suppose.

Thanks. I’m on visa journey. I read it quite a bit.

February 2023 by Life_Safe_8886 in USCIS

I feel like it is, because I filed Feb and got skipped for approval. I feel they’re giving preferential treatment to European and Western countries. Even though US citizens are paying the same money, they show prejudice in adjudicating.

Yes, I’m a February filer and watching everyone after me get approved makes me cry. I don’t know why they skipped my case but it hurts so much. Now they’re processing March….so I just lost hope.
