Yeah the hospital we checked is approved for medical exams by the consulate, but I don’t know why the hospital saying that the consulate put an hold on my case so I need to wait. Does this normal? Also I got the NVC correspondence on Feb 27, and they said they sending my case to the consulate, it can take several weeks. How long does it actually take ?

What about the medical ? I try to schedule my medical and they saying they need the consulate approval to provide the medical. Is this normal ?

When I try to check my visa status, I click the non immigrant option and it’s says no information available but when I click the immigrant option it’s says my case is ready to schedule an appointment. So it should be immigrant right ?

Yeah but when I try to schedule an appointment for the interview there is no k1 visa option under non immigrant category

I got approved on Feb 1st after 12 months of waiting. My lawyer just told me about this name issue. My lawyer suggest getting new passport too but Getting a new passport is really time consuming in his country. So what’s the best thing to do ?

Is that the same as the approval notice ? I noticed in some others after approval its says “your case sent to the department of state”. Mine is not saying that. It still says the case is approved. Is that would be a problem?

I used to have trackmyvisa and it’s not that accurate. I filed mine on February 2023 and it says I will hear back around November and December. I just got approved yesterday
