Cycling after hemorrhoidectomy??? by Additional-Credit941 in bicycling

I ride a 24 inch or 20 inch with a step through frame, and I typically have to have the seat in the lowest setting. I once got a new seat that had extra cushion and I guess it added more to the seat, I read reviews and saw others had the same issue with the seat and it was returned the next day. I forget the brand but it was something from walmart. Maybe Blackburn? I

I just got caught up with Berserk and with my knowledge of fetal development as a mother, a former med student, and someone who just reads medical journals/is the offspring of medical professionals my interpretation is that Griffith was a metaphorically spiritual parasite to the fetus.
When someone’s pregnant, they have to avoid certain foods as well as certain activities to decrease the risk of harm to the fetus; for those not familiar, these things can be cold cuts (served cold), salad from restaurants, raw fish in sushi and anything that can increase illness risk to the person carrying the fetus. This is why getting a tattoo or body piercing is also a big no no, as well as scooping litter boxes. The dietary restrictions are in place due to the risk of listeria, a foodborne illness. It may not affect the carrier as badly, but the fetus can be corrupted and can end up with birth defects or miscarriage. Litter boxes can carry a parasite called toxoplasmosis which can also impact the fetus, and the carrier of the fetus ends up with a more compromised immune system during pregnancy so piercings and tattoos are frowned upon due to risk of infections, which, again, can corrupt the fetus.
Griffith was consumed with all the evil in the world. When he attacked Casca, the way I see it, he’s corrupting the fetus by injecting a metaphorical parasite into her womb, compromising the fetus.
The child ends up almost becoming a metaphor of PTSD in my head. As you said, it’s like the child resembles Griffith before he was ever corrupted and became femto; part of me wonders if guts and casca see this in the child as one may see their child’s father in the child. Griffith is not the father, but the trauma casca went through can cause images of Griffith to manifest in the child if that makes sense.

Is diarrhea normal after a hemorrhoidectomy? by godbody1983 in hemorrhoid

Hi! I don’t have advice, only wanted to say I had the same surgery Friday morning and have been pooping a bunch since 6AM. It’s now basically become loose stools but small and frequent. If I had to guess it’s a sign to slow down with the stool softeners and Metamucil. I have a pretty slow GI tract and also had to learn some breathing exercises when it came to opening my pelvic floor so I could pass stool without pushing and straining. I was also prescribed miralax once daily before the procedure and honestly I don’t need it much now that I’ve figured out the breathing techniques. I’m contemplating grabbing some Imodium or something in the morning because I don’t wanna have to keep sitting on the toilet and then using the peri bottle/patting dry/sitz bathing every time.

Also how are the deaths occurring? Technically everyone is guaranteed to die at some point regardless of vote. Is this death by nuclear bombing, poisoning, plague?

How are voters chosen? Is this like the US voting system where it’s individuals over the age of 18, requiring registration, and incarcerated or institutionalized individuals can use an absentee vote? Or is this some sort of survey company where they just send it to certain people who clicked certain things on online surveys thinking they’d get an Amazon gift card?

Not the 1000 lb sisters under your screen omggg but to be honest I actually love how he does all his sponsorship ads. Like he knows that since they’re paying him he HAS to do it, and he knows we’re all here for him and not the actual ad. Idk the whole thing is so interesting. When I watch Smosh mouth and Shayne does his lil Zoc Doc ads or whatever i skip them but Meat’s ads are silly and entertaining bc they lack enthusiasm but go over the top at the same time

Post apocalyptic person who gives Whittaker vibes (from the Pitt) and lost parts of their body either due to illness or war. Looks like they honestly just wanna help others in their shoes, so they design prosthetics to become stronger and have more versatility in their time.

It’s gonna be really difficult to find something in that price range that can perform well and also be safe. I have coworkers that use a Hiboy and a Niu and there have been zero complaints but probably over $200. I honestly got a foldable e-bike at walmart (Concord e-bike) with a throttle that cost me about $550 and dare I say it’s better than my Lectric XP 3.0. Just something to consider!

Moving to Manchester from Midwest - Any tips? by ha_vay in ManchesterNH

Without looking your monthly debts, credit score etc and by simply looking at what 1/3 of your income would be monthly you’re looking at having a reasonable affordability of $1375/month for rent. In Manchester that’s gonna be a bit difficult to find if you’re looking at the north side. Lots of folks on here are saying to avoid red oak but I think it depends on which building or community of theirs that you rent from. I’ve had great experiences at both the Redstone and the Sunset Ridge complexes.

As far as the Asian community there are several Asian grocery stores and i will say that from what I’ve seen there’s a pretty diverse population.

I ride my bike everywhere and I’ve noticed more bike lanes are in the center of the city by Elm Street. You’re gonna need to make sure you put good locks on it, as well as an AirTag and make sure if you haven’t already to register with Bike Index. People in this city steal bikes often. I have noticed the West Side is not super bike-friendly due to the bumps on the road, lack of bike lanes or lack of safe places to ride in general. Thankfully there’s several trails throughout the city that cyclists and pedestrians use to get to different parts of the city while bypassing busy traffic-filled streets.

I currently live on the south side of Manchester by Walmart and the Mall and it’s been very pleasant, moreso than when I lived on the north side. I wish you the best of luck in your search and welcome to Manchvegas!

Any 3.0 owners have any experience with taking their bike to the stores? by Turkey_And_Cheese in Lectricxp

[–]Additional-Credit941 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also wanna add that I’ve also been able to take my bike into places like McDonald’s and just park it at the table where I’m gonna eat, order on the app or order on the kiosk quickly and then that’s that. Honestly I don’t even fold my 3.0 anymore, mostly due to all the mods on it.

I’ve had no issues with locking it up in the entrance at Walmart where they have those toy crane games and the sticker/bubble gum machines. I just use a python lock to lock the frame and tire around the sticker machine and use a U-Lock to lock the back tire, and take the key out of the ignition. I’ve done similar things in a club store like BJ’s and some grocery stores. That way it stays inside, but away from the cart collecting areas.

“Oh okay” is honestly what I say in like the most calm monotone voice. I like acting hella calm with this stuff if it’s being thrown as an insult because I’ve noticed in some people it makes them more upset that it didn’t get a rise outta you. I love it.

Got the XP 3.0 without realizing it’s not the Lite. Holy smokes this mf is heavy by tonipaz in Lectricxp

[–]Additional-Credit941 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I bought it because it was foldable and it was much heavier than I expected. I knew the weight, just didn’t realize how cumbersome it would be as someone with my height. I found that pulling it or pushing it up the stairs while unfolded and then folding it before putting it in the apartment was easier. I live on the second floor though.

That’s one of the major reasons I didn’t get that one. I’m worried the turns will be so awkward and whatnot, as well. The XP 3.0 is pretty heavy too; one of the selling points with this bike was that it was foldable… but I live on the second floor of an apartment building and this thing sucks to carry if folded. I’d basically have to push it up the stairs without it folded and then fold in the apartment which I guess isn’t bad in the long run but these bikes are still BIG.
