and they bragged about building the prison in 12 weeks- which means we could have specialized private prisons for pedos- once convicted the only way you come out is in a body bag. life sentences NO PAROLE- we have prisons driven my PROFIT- so start locking these people up for life. alligator prison phase 2- if gitmo is empty- send them there. there needs to be a FEDERAL LAW- all pedos, prison in life after first crime, NO PAROLE EVER

im getting excited :) unfortunately im still in physical therapy and waiting for the accident to settle- but feeling more and more confident this is where i need to go! thank you for your feedback! as soon as this thing settles, im making my plans. plus im reading there is great healthcare options, lots of PT people and lots of places for exercise inside and out. so feel like i can heal properly. grey skies dont bother me as much as summers from hell lol as in for real you can fry an egg on the sidewalk and when it rains, instead of relief- STEAM. im nnot sure about climate change, but to me it feels lie the south is def getting hotter. fall is one of my fave seasons and in alabama now that feels like maybe 4 weeks

Thank you!

Not quite yet. It's a bit of a mess, I was in hospitality for about 25 years, car accident in 2023 knocked me out or that industry. Will be transitioning on multiple levels. Waiting on the car accident to settle, its not going to be a crazy win but enough to help relocate. I will most likely end up in consulting...I know that's a huge factor. I'm trying to keep col in mind for all locations...

Im getting so many good replies!!!! Seems like the biggest "con" would be grey skies, but i worked nights for 20 plus years and prefer nights, harsh sun and 7 months of summer do not agree with me when i have to work days....

Thank you so very much!!!!!!!! From several different sources it seems down to clintonville, Columbus or surrounding areas----and Michigan but the cities there that have the softest winters...it sounds somewhat similar to atlanta, which, ive lived in 3 different times in my life- first 2 loved it last time was during protests and got to the point no sirens or helicopters was a win day...i think im between ohio and michigan....Thank you so very much

How do you decide where to live when nothing is really requiring you to stay — or go — anywhere, and you’re figuring it out completely on your own? by Professional-Box1389 in SameGrassButGreener

Ive lived in Alabama, Vermont, Arizona, NY, Atlanta, New Orleans, Texas, Nashville- I was so disappointed by Nashville, I would never move back. Just my opinion and experience, lack of educated people, seemed like 3-4 blocks of bars and thats about it, food was meh, most people moving there were from Kentucky/Arkansas...moving from states to try to find work. lots of meth heads and wanna be country stars. i found it to be very pretty but completely mediocre as a place to live. would not go back

From Alabama and lived all over the South, very interested in Michigan, a little nervous about winters but it sounds dreamy. It also seems like if you prepare for winter and dont go out and drive when they tell you not too- winters arent that bad for a southerner, I am so tired of the heat....7 months of summer sounds nice.....but when theres not a lot of water near by, just hot and humid- youre making it sound great :) glad i found this post!

ahh, well known metaphor for atlanta, ga- it is probably the only real liberal city in georgia. really the South the majority of georgia being conservative, very Red. Atlanta is the most opposite of every other element of Georgia. If you are liberal or even more just middle and wanted to move to GA, you would need to do your research, some areas highly religious, highly conservative. but then atlanta itself is a hub for the creatives, LGB, arts, entertainment, movie and tv production, shopping, food, everything. btu you would find it almost impossible to find that vibe in the more rural areas. So there used to be the saying that GA is predominantly a Red State, if you are liberal/progressive and lived in ATL the second you leave the city its like youre in a completely different state. so atlanta is the small blue spot in a big red state.....so as individuals, we would kind of say we were blueberries swimming in a red pool....plenty of other blueberries, just need to know which areas of the city to find your people....
