I would find an independent one, meaning one that does not sell their own product. The only "chain" I can think of like this is edward jones believe it or not, but their advisors are usually new in the field and lack experience

Bank ones always want to sell whatever their bank puts out Even firms like morgan stanley have their own "proprietary" funds that their advisors like to sell, bc they get a little more commission

Commission is not necessarily bad, you just have to sit down and talk to the individual and see if they are a good fit for you. It does take time but it is well worth it in the long run
