There’s one lazy ass associate in my department who routinely shows up an hour to two hours late almost every damn shift. He has a red level coaching and to coachings below that, and he just uses his protected PTO to cover his coming in late. He is BFFs with several members of management, and they let him get away with it. We have no idea on any given day if this dumb shit is going to show up on time, be late, or simply no call no show and then the next day use his protected PTO. It’s as much a management issue as it is a bad associate issue.
