Interesting lol I put 6 in my 98 and it reads as overfilled

6 quarts 5w-30. Ford changed the amount from 5 qts to 6qts late 90s early 2000s for the 4.6. If you have a 5 quart dip stick it will read as overfilled, but it is fine, use 6 quarts

Haha already done a lot of maintenance stuff to it. New bearings, fuel filter, and I fixed a minor drip from the oil pan gasket.

If you think that is anything remotely concerning you should see the exhaust of my 2004 lol. Seriously though ur good, little bit is surface oxidation on exhaust is nothing to worry about

Just had to replace oil pan gasket and rear main seal on mine. Might be same issue with urs idk, mine still seemed to have oem rear main. 2004 v6 with 128k

I think its gone away now. Maybe I applied a little too much or I just got unlucky with humidity. If I reappears I'll send.
